Resets: Classes, guns, scorestreaks, specialists, rank.

Doesn't reset: Attachments (tied to gun rank), camo progress, challenge progress.

Gain: Extra Custom Class, 1 Permanent unlock token

Thanks.

I am so happy challenges dont reset.

Hated having to get to like the final prestige before I can tackle all of them because they reset!

Played multiplayer for about 6 hours today and reached level 16. Had 17 Wins and 16 losses on Team Deathmatch and ended up with about a 0.9 K/D. Despite doing so poorly I'm really enjoying myself so far. I've stuck with Prophet and the Glitch ability the entire time. I usually die before managing to use the ability but none of the other characters' abilities really seem all that appealing. I'll probably use some of my tokens on them tomorrow to try them out.

On a side note I'm really having a tough time getting a scorestreak high enough to use anything. 500 points for a UAV seems higher than it has been in the past. Not that I'm complaining, I'm just used to getting at least one per match in the older games. I had maybe 5 all day today. Hopefully I'll have better luck once I learn the maps.

So, you know how the special ability automatically regenerates? I wish they did the same thing with grenades, but with a smaller timer. Grenade spam is crazy in objective modes like Demolition, but I feel it'd be a lot of fun if we had to use them more sparingly, as opposed to getting it every spawn.

Anyone know how much damage is reduced when using flak jacket?

Finished the campaign on Hardened difficulty and ended up really enjoying it, surprised at all the negativity to be honest. The last half of the game especially is very entertaining and trippy. Like the more open areas and the choice of picking your loadouts out in the field.

I did enjoy the throwback (level spoilers)

to WW2, that was good craic. I wish you had been able to use classic WW2 weapons as well but that's just because I'm jonesing for a good WW2 game again!

Overall had a good time with it. Now time to move onto zombies (when the online actually works on PC for it) and more multiplayer.

Anyone think these specialist classes suck? I would have preferred the advanced warfare character customization style...now with the current system you get 3 or even 4 of the same looking characters on the same team..

It sucks

I'm actually preferring Ghost over Black Ops 3 campaign. I might change though, but I really hate the coop focus of the campaign since it messed up the level design and pacing :(
Dammit. I was afraid the huge focus on co-op would Bork the single player experience. Guess I'll be skipping this one.

Guys can anyone tell me why some of the campaign missions I've completed (in coop) have a grey X next to them, while some have a green check mark? Did I not complete some objective, or forget to do something?

Picture spoilers.... kind of. Screen shot shows all the campaign mission names. Click on quote to reveal.

Holy shit at this fucking escape sequence on realistic. This is obviously meant to be cinematic and fun but when you die in one shot it becomes unbelievably broken. At this checkpoint I die instantly half the time.

The football (baseball?) stadium level in Ghosts has been more entertaining than anything here.

I still can't believe it. What the hell where they doing with that extra dev time? How did Treyarch expand in manpower, add extra dev time, and work with more powerful systems and still turn out their worst campaign by far?

Finished the last 7 missions on realistic last night, will go back and do the first 4 later. Honestly some parts and the most bs and unfair crap I have ever experienced.

Yeah, it's stupid having to kill someone looking like you 10-20x a game. I rather be 1/12 random looking characters. The special abilities should have been a choice you can select in your loadout, maybe make it a fourth perk.

Staring at a winner's circle of three of the exact same dude is pretty ridiculous.

I still enjoyed it a lot more than MW2/3 and BLOPS2 tbh. Ghosts just consistently made me laugh out loud at how relentlessly silly it was with the bad guy being almost like Michael Myers constantly popping up during the campaign and never dying, I really want a sequel to that games campaign but of course I would not be surprised if we never get it.

I honestly couldn't imagine playing a COD game on anything above Hardened, I've never found any of the games more fun at higher difficulties. Fuck it was bad enough on hardened with the number of grenades being thrown about, I would be frightened of how much they chuck them around on realistic.

Advanced Warfare was extremely easy on Veteran. The exo-powers were super overpowered. Definitely the easiest CoD campaign by far.

Grenade spam is actually pretty nonexistent on realistic, the problem is you die in one hit which makes the open areas and machine gun fire maddening.

Wait, wait, wait, in order to continue my campaign do I have to stay Online!? I tried to play offline and my progress was ignored, log in to PSN and my progress was there, WTH.

Ah right fair enough. I still have nightmares about trying World At War on veteran, fuck me that game was impossible.

Ugh that sounds horrible. Fair play to you for sticking with it.

You do yeah. I was having server problems today with it and everytime it would kick me out of the game to the menu if the server was disconnected. Not a fan of how that was handled in splitting offline/online single player campaign progress.

Oh, my, God.

That Campaign ending was literally "Baby's First Sci-Fi" levels of ridiculous.

Damn Treyarch, you shit the bed hard with that Campaign.

I can't...this game...the campaign...

Black Ops 3...you were the chosen one...wtf.

Back to gamestop with this garbage.

Hit weapon level 2 on the Man-O-War, which unlocks a Kill Counter on your gun:

See the 1019? I think it's a pretty cool feature...but now my OCD wants to see what happens when you reach 999,999 lol

This might be the first time in a Call of Duty game where I end my campaign and play multiplayer. No matter how silly and crazy the campaigns can be in the Call of Duty games on 360/PS3, I always beat them first and then play the multiplayer.

Is Nightmare campaign much better than this? I'm assuming the slow pacing of Nightmare might be better than the current awful campaign. Seriously, I prefer the campaigns of Battlefield 4 and EVEN 3(maybe went too far here!) over this :(

I agree, AW has some awesome customization. I had the joker face mask and it was so rare to see someone else wearing it. It definitely should have been a perk to a custom character.

I would hope they release some skins soon.

I could be wrong but aren't there some items you can unlock from the black market, or are those just taunts?

I will not go that far. :p

Even if I say that Black Ops III is the worst campaign in the franchise, I would still put it above trash-tier stuff like Medal of Honor: Warfighter and the Battlefield 3/4 campaigns.

Yes. By far the worst part of this new MP.

No disconnections or lag on my end (PS4). Been on all day.

Same. Sometimes it'll take me a few minutes to connect to the online servers at the main menu but as far as playing games go after that, it's been pretty smooth. Haven't been booted and haven't ran into much lag either.

I'd probably have to give it a little more time, but I think I liked the nightmare campaign more. It didn't always make perfect sense, but by limiting the story to just voice overs it kept it more consistent. Another bonus was that with all the zombies around I barely had to deal with fucking grenade spam deaths.

Heavily upgraded Gorgon is fucking hilariously strong. Love it.

Yep, was saying the same thing to my friend. Advanced Warfare's MP customization was much more appealing when it came to the player's character.

I like the specialists but you should be able to select these specialist combat styles as part of your personal customized character.

So is moderate NAT a bad thing? Or is it kind of the okay middle ground? I know jack shit about this stuff and I had it set to open yesterday after opening 3074 and 3075 but now it went back down to moderate.

Though I got to thinking, can a port only be opened towards one device at a time on my network? My dad's NAT is open and mine is moderate.

This is gonna drive me nuts even though I haven't really had any issue connecting to my friends using moderate.

Concs are still too strong if anything. In beta they were beyond ridiculous.

What? They're completely useless. All they do now is prevent someone from turning around if you get them with their back turned and if you can't get someone in this game with their back turned to you without a conc you're garbage & don't deserve the kill anyway.

You can consistently shoot your way out of being concussed and tactical mask is rank 5 anyway so what's the fucking point.

the thing I liked most about AW's customization is that everyone looked mostly distinctive and you could tell who the enemies were after seeing them once. in BO3 I find myself getting confused for a moment when seeing enemies sometimes because I think enemies are allies or something since everybody looks the same

You do unlock more things for each class with black market stuff, just gotta give people time to get things, I'm sure people looked quite similar the first week of aw as well.
