Specialists are back? Fucking shit. I'd like the different studios games to at least feel a little different from one another, but I guess that era is done.

Same movement as Black Ops 3, specialists, Zombies...not that its going to be a bad game but I've seen little risks or innovation so far.

Specialist was the best idea Ops 3 had. This could be interesting seeing more hero characters in cod now

I hope AW2's movement remains as fast as it was. It's unique. I liked it.

But it won't, obviously. Zombies are also a pre-order/certain version exclusive thing too.

I should have known Infinity Ward wouldn't do their own thing.

After Ghosts' falling flat on its face of course they'd just take from the other studios. It's probably the safest way to play it.

But I am not interested in Black Ops 3-2.

I'm sure it's an Activision thing more than a IW thing.

The campaign at least looks like it's going in its own direction. But yeah, I just bought this game last year, the reason I buy the new CoD is because it's a NEW CoD, not the same one I just bought with new maps.

Yeah, I thought the same. As you said they seem to have gotten to try something new for the campaign, but the multiplayer is sticking close to the Black Ops 3 formul, and I wouldn't be surprised if that was an Activision directive.

It likely is Activision. I'd be doing the same if I had to work with the studio that gave us MW3 and Ghosts.

I feel the same way.

Specialists are cool, though. Glad they're coming back.

Don't have it was a while ago but basically Michael Condrey was doing an interview about how he'd love to go back to WW2 for CoD, then a few month later he tweets out how the next CoD is special and he's really excited to share it (my words don't do it justice but it sounded something other than AW2 - IIRC he also said something about how they were listening to what fans wanted which obviously isn't exo suits). A few month ago they were in Berlin and gave a speech about WW2 aswell.

I doubt it personally because I think it'd be too big of a change from the advanced movements, but Condrey & SHG seem to be all in on the WW2 front for some reason at least.

Don't play with my heart like this.

Sorry :(

As I said I personally doubt it as I think advanced movement to WW2 in the space of 1 game is too much change, but it is strange how they're so active in WW2 stuff now.

There's also Activision CEO saying a WW2 CoD is certainly possible last year. Some googling finds me to Conrey hinting at their next game with 4 hashtags in his twitter bio, #### = WWII? WAW2? It's not there now, so it's been removed since.

I don't want to get anyones hopes up, because even I don't think they will go back fully but something is brewing imo. CoD gradually increased movements each game I don't think they will undo it all in 1 game, they will gradually remove them again if they are going to (Boots on ground > Exo boost > Wallrunning)

One of the gun variants gives you 10% extra damage if you shoot your enemy in the crotch.

What. The. Actual. Fuck.
