Castlevania Lords Of Shadows appears on Steam Registry

I got all of them for the PS3 and the 360. I'm fucked up.

That means I can sell my PS3 copy now.
soon after usually. the best leaks from Steam come from the registry.
We don't fully understand the database.
From educated guesses we can assume that if an entry is updated the developer is doing something with the title.
Once something is added to the database it means that that title is coming to Steam at that point.
It can be abandoned in the future if that developer chooses, but at that moment there is a plan for the release.
I knew there was a reason I never bought the DLC. I mean, aside from the fact that it was absurdly overpriced and never went on sale until I'd long since stopped caring.

I certainly hope so. I always liked what the game had to offer but the piss poor graphics performance in all versions of the game really turned me off. The art would be well served by a high framerate and great image quality as it really is a beautiful looking game.

This game will look absurd on PC cleaned up and at 60FPS+.

I actually started playing this for the 1st time yesterday afternoon. The game is quite beautiful but takes a long time to get out of tutorial sections/handholding. I am hoping the game is quite lengthy because the first two chapters are a slow burn. Thankfully you are greeted by beautiful vistas and wondruous creatures along the way. The framerate is less than perfect but the game is beautiful all the same. The orchestral score is also very moving and gives the game a very classy feel. The droning narration by Patrick Stewart at the start of each chapter is actually pretty irritating though. I am looking forward to getting further into the game ... I hope it actually opens up and becomes a real, meaty adventure game.
The level design does feel decidedly last gen though. The fixed camera is even more "fixed" than the God of War series. Most areas feel cramped, almost harkening back to the Onimusha series in how static things feel. At least there are branching paths with loot and goodies.

Oh don't worry, you're still pretty early. The game is super lengthy. You're not even close to halfway through it.

Would love a PC version, hope it's true. The game really suffered from perfomance issues on consoles.

Oh wow, that game was from MS? I loved it back then. It seems they're doing good work as long as they stay away from the shooter genre.
That'd be expecting a little too much I think.

I'm sure I owe people some new hearts after AoE II, Halo 3, and FF8 as well.
Wait, is there definite proof of Halo 3 now? Other than the driver notes?
It's been in the Steam reg for a while now along with all of these other games that are being confirmed to release on Steam. There's not definitive proof per say, but it's getting more and more likely as more games on the list are being confirmed.
GAFfer Stinkles (who works for 343) is outright denying it, which is odd given the other evidence. But don't get your hopes up too high.

He uses PR speak to dance around the issue without flat out saying no.
Microsoft is using their common 'we have no plans to release,' which lately has meant, 'we are releasing the game in the future.'
I thought he had said something more specific than the "no plans" dodge, but maybe I misread somewhere.

I figured I'd bump this in case anyone missed it. I had no idea there was a possibility this could come to PC and just found this thread while searching. I know the second one is confirmed for PC and that MoF might as well, but it would be a real treat to get the whole trilogy on PC. I'm posting the MoF rumor too so it's all in place. It would really be incredible if Konami did this. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Such a bummer, you could tell there was so much detail the resolution couldn't support. And of course the most offensive aspect was how shit it ran. Hope a vita/Wii U/whatever version comes out eventually.
And yeah, I was expecting this to have been officially announced by now. Imagine they're waiting until closer to the release date of the sequel to put this out on pc.
