Evo was a fluke.

You had any doubt? Look what happens when everyone learns some anti Phoenix technology.

Also, I can't respect anyone who walks away before they know they are done. That's the sign of a true loser. Look at what Justin can accomplish by never giving up.

Stay free Viscant.

To think, they're actually giving Mr. Reset Factory an evil villain bonus for losing his Versace shades and getting a wrinkle on his jacket....

Man, did they choose the wrong commentating team for this grandfinal.

I agree. Hasn't it been established already you need 1 ultradavid and 1 Yipes when it comes to commentary? The hype and the smooth analyzing = a recipe of perfection.

Good stuff to Justin for winning both AE and Marvel. Would have liked to see Combo take it, but Wong was playing REALLY good those last few sets.

lol at Viscant. That was a terrible assist call, indeed.

Marvel is pretty much free for Wong. He took out his three closest competitors pretty easy (Viscant, PR Balrog and Combofiend).

At Season Beatings, he's probably not going to win AE but probably get top 8.

But he's got Marvel. The only other big competitor will be Marlinpie (maybe).

Looking forward to see what Wong and Latif can do against Uryo, Mago, Tokido, Poongko next week. :) MvC3 should end up with a similar result since Wong and Combofiend are the best players imo.

Justin Wong back on top. Winning both MVC3 and SFIV.

SB is not looking good for the rest of the U.S.

SB is going to have Poongko, Uryo, Mago, Tokido and Momochi for AE, so it's not like US had a chance in the first place.

So, how did AE top 8 look?

1st: EG|Justin Wong (Rufus).
2nd: Brokentier|Latif (C. Viper).
3rd: cc.coL|Combofiend (Oni/Abel/Makoto).
4th: cc.coL|Mike Ross (E. Honda).
5th: EG|fLoE (Yang).
5th: cc.coL|Filipino Champ (Dhalsim).
7th: EG|Ricky Ortiz (Rufus).
7th: WolfKrone (C. Viper).

All but one sponsored player in the top 8, as long as the sponsored players come I guess that's what we can expect in the future of Majors. Next week at Season's Beatings, you should probably expect several of foreigners in the top 8 for SSF4AE though.

Wong can probably beat Poongko and Mago. Maybe Uryo. Tokido probably not. And if Momochi uses Yun forget about it.

Poongko can get hot and guess right. It depends on which Mago. 2D God or 2D Fraud.

The main entertainment during SB will be seeing Poongko and Uryo play against our favorite SF players.

Marvel is going to be pretty much more of the same.
