The constant "it would be better on PC" is getting to be a bit much.

Though I'd love it if the game did well enough to warrant a PC version. I'd hate to see this IP die after just this one game, I think it has a lot of potential.

Is this game actually going to be presented in a letterboxed format? Last time I remember a game doing that was Resident Evil 4 on the GameCube and it was really annoying!

it seems to, yes. all offscreen footage i found on youtube has black bars ... i don't know, if it matters to me. i just want to play it ... even in a letterboxed format.

I just hope there's not too much pop-in (some videos got me a bit worried) because i think that would break the immersion.

Does anyone know if any of the preorder bonuses are completely exclusive?

I'm confused as to whether the Gamestop one has more items for sale or they just are for sale earlier on in the game, i.e. the starting town.

That is what I like to hear. This game is going to provide a very unique experience, in my view.

There hasn't been a single sub hd MTf game as far as I know so I doubt this one is. The letterboxing was probably put in place to avoid going sub hd. We should at least get better IQ this way since the game won't have to upscale from a lower resolution.

Looks like I will be getting the 360 version after all. Just got the dreaded YLOD Monday night, while playing Dark Souls. I am going to eventually get another PS3, but not for awhile.

Yes, pretty pissed as well. At least I was able to do the ridiculous hair dryer trick in order to get it to pop back on, so I could get my disk out. Not going to risk playing anything else, though. Going to buy me a flash drive, so I can hopefully back up my content for when I get another one... if it lasts that long.

I want to see if there are more to the game than what we already saw, but I don't want to spoil the game....

I really just want to be able to see the whole job and skill system, not so much how to defeat certain enemies.

This actually looks pretty neat. I like how dark it is at night. It's a shame that there's a mini map that shows you exactly where to go.
The PC version better not use GFWl.

I'm sure you can remove it. I mean if you can remove the on-screen battle talk and buttons I'm pretty sure you can take out the map.

I also hate mini maps. It takes out the exploration and I become to reliant on it.

Not sure about that...I don't remember stuff in the other Capcom streams being Letterboxed...sounds ridiculous...the sub HD I can understand,it won't be the first current gen game that is not true 720/1080p but Letterboxed? nah,bad rumour me thinks ;P ;)
