it can't really be repeated enough times: that daigo comeback vs wong in SFIII is the greatest comeback of all time. you can post whatever you want in hopes of topping that moment but you can't because it's impossible. goosebumps.

It's the definitive tourney moment.

What the... why are they even interested in e-sports?

I'm not tuning into sportscenter to see analysis of Sako vs Xian.

You won't see that happen just yet lol. This is for editors on their website to write eSports articles, or make video segments for the website.

Also, PR Rog (Balrog) vs. Daigo Umehara (Evil Ryu) wasn't a nice comeback match. Not sure why it's there except for PR Rog showing off his win against Daigo.

What about TSN and Sportsnet?

I'm not sure about TSN but Sportsnet had a nice segment on eSports a few months ago. http://www.sportsnet.ca/shows/tim-and-sid-show/what-do-you-know-about-esports/

Also, I know for sure that theScore is trying to get pretty big on eSports. They have a website dedicated to it: http://www.thescoreesports.com/

Meh I think Justin's MvC2 stuff is much better. Cyke vs Yipes MSP? Come on.

Young people are getting really accustomed to watch Twitch and Youtube of viseo games. It's programming for a future where people see games as another thing to watch and play. As fans of traditional sports age out the young ones will age in.

I missed this shit.

Anyways my favorite Daigoat comeback is his 2003 SBO ST comeback. It's single elimination and his teammates (kurahashi, Otochun) both lost. He goes up against a bad matchup in Sim. Then does this last second comeback against his evil twin "Umechin." He was on the verge of elimination. Then finishes off the real life dictator. His team goes on to win this national tournament, which was more prestigious than EVO at the time.

The same video but with Nico Nico comments.

That comeback really came down to Yipes making a lot of mistakes and going in when he really didn't need to. I guess you can say that every comeback requires that the other player messes up in some way for the situation to happen but at a certain point you have to figure out if a game was a choke or a comeback. That's a fine line there.

You could probably say the same thing about the Daigo parry but that was one decision that Justin made wrong vs a bunch that Yipes made wrong.

Wait PR Rog picked himself as the best comeback?

He should've picked that time Infiltration summoned Hakan and snatched his soul.

Sportscenter is covering wrestling these days (They've had shows/segments dedicated to WWE and Lucha Underground), so the sky is the limit.

Woshige on SportsCenter was amazing though.
