Really can't read. Maybe should try to follow the conversation, it's pretty clear. Stop making me waste posts.Bruh, you think it's a remake but it may not be a remake. Sounds like a far cry from confirming a remake flat-out.

I don't think the home console game with that kind of investment will end up being a sequel or something. I do think that'll be the remake due to certain reasons, and that hasn't changed in recent times.
Verendus: I think it'll be the remake. No different than what I've said a year prior. Also tell you to expect other things.Doesn't sound like it's any guarantee.

To celebrate, I am going to start my next playthrough of IX, the best game in the series.
by far
Why don't you play both? You could beat FF7 while waiting for a random battle in IX to load.
The segment with these guys in Nibelheim creeped me out as a kid.
The segment with these guys in Nibelheim creeped me out as a kid.
So did the segment with Jenova in the Shinra building.
...and the creepy choir music that plays when Sephiroth goes insane.
This game had a lot of scary moments for an eight year old.
Between the stellar art direction, beautiful pre-rendered backgrounds and absolutely phenomenal soundtrack, I still find Final Fantasy VII to be one of the most atmospheric games ever released. No techno-city has ever been as ruthlessly oppressive as Midgar. I still get chills every time I enter Cosmo Canyon. Nibelheim remains one of the most compelling and memorable "small towns" in RPGs. I can go on-- the location design, world building, and general sense of "place" is simply superb.
I have a lot of fond memories of FF7, but these are easily my fondest. I replay the game often, usually to completion, and a lot of the time it is simply so I can see the sights and hear the sounds again.

Better than the rest of the games in the series ............... COMBINED!!!!!!!!!
It's seriously hilarious to see someone call this game overrated. I can't think of another game that pulled me into it's universe the way FF7 did. This is the game that introduced me to JRPGs and the sole reason why I went out and bought a playstation.
