Another interesting thing about Eden
is that it has older ruin looking buildings with depictions of Lindzei on them.
That and
Edenhall and the Cradle is Eden itself.

Eden is one of my graphical highlights in gaming of all time.
It's filled to the brim with insanely gorgeous background art like in your second pic.
My favourite location is probably Eden Hall. That long tunnel where all the citizens flee before the final segment.

This is absolutely one of the highlights of the 7th generation.
I can't imagine what SE will do with FFXV's open world visually.
Fascinating.
I can't wait to upgrade my PC and play this at max resolution and FPS.
That's why I am delaying my XIII replays.
PS4 collection or proper PC upgrade whichever comes first.

Finished.I pretty much still love the game. This game is still one of my favorite FFs and my favorite of the trilogy. I appreciate this game even more now after knowing the whole series and its myth. Once the update comes in, I'll go mess around with Pulse and the Hunts (Let's see how stable it is.)
I would like to thank Yoshi for returning the hype and fans like Raitningz, suppadoopa, Perfo, LuuKyK, Heelpower, Toth and many more for supporting the series.

Some people are here for the screenshots, some are playing for the first time, and there was always the part of gaf that was not part of the hate hyperbole bubble for FFXIII.
It's a flawed game, not a bad one.
December only (if it isn't delayed like Dark Souls).

There was 4k within a few hours of release cause magic. Much celebration that day.

Actually... FF13 plot is comprehensible, you need to read database entries for that, and not many people do this, I did.
Wait till you experience 13-2 plot, then you can throw around words like convoluted and I don't want to even begin to understand that (><)

Have they fixed the framerate in battles yet? I wish people wouldn't buy the sequels if they're not going to bother supporting XIII properly. If they can't fix it (or unwilling to spend loads of time) due to it being some deep internal functionality of the way the HUD is animated then just tell us. Tell us something. They were posting in the Steam forum around release then they just abandoned it and I've not seen them return.
I still haven't played the game on PC because of this. I was interested in LR since I enjoyed what I played of it on PS3 but I'm not buying it unless they improve on the above.

I have no problem understanding the plot (I did read the background entries when I first played it on PS3).
I do have a problem understanding how anyone could ever have thought that Snow works as a character that you don't want to punch every time he opens his mouth.

It's not really surprising I'd say, the asset variety and quality was always there even on PS3. And then it was rendered at 720p with dithering and no AF :/
I don't want to punch him, his hero shtick is more hilarious than annoying, who I wanted to punch all the time (first time playing) were Lightning and Hope, but I got even over that by now.
Also this thread should be renamed "gorgeous screenshots of FF13, oh btw, we talk about a game too, sometimes".
FF13 still looks amazingly good.

My favourite part of the game is Lightning doing just that. Still, playing through this again, everyone has grown on me. I don't know what it is exactly but I'm enjoying this second run through a lot more than my first time.
hope is way worse. A whiny kid until chapter 11.

I'm having problems launching the game with gedosato. It doesn't load up 3840x2160 fullscreen but it can do it downsampled to 1080p windowed.
Well some people were offended at Snow giving a weapon to a kid.
Edit: If I'm not mistaken there was a discussion about this earlier in the thread.
Seriously? I guess people will be "offended" about Type-0's child soldiers getting mowed down.

Snow is purportedly an adult (going by his age) and a complete asshat.
Way less of an asshat if you play with the Japanese dub and seen previous Daisuke Ono anime roles.
That's the difference in dubs that I talked about months ago.
Are you using JP text? The Eng dub screwed that up too.
what? Snow wasn't actually ok with this. The group of people demanded to help.
