Wanna hear a good joke? Waste your time helping me! LOL!
Only thing I've seen is the new AF3 pictures and my hype levels are increasing again.
Feeling mostly indifferent toward them right now. They all look rather tame save for DRG, which continues to get even more goofy looking.

At the very least the new SCH set beats the hell put of the AF2.

I like them for the most part.

Scholar seems like an evolution of the first AF.

Need a better angle on Dark Knight to see the rest of it.

I like the ornate/regal look of the Paladin armor.

Bard looks okay I guess.

Dragoon reminds me of a picture I saw in a fantasy book long ago where a knight in spiky armor was fighting a serpent creature.

I think some of these just have bad angles/lighting so you can't see all the details like DRG/DRK.

Should be better once we can get better looks at them, probably in the benchmark.

I'm sort of fascinated by how bad XIV's back end is. Cross server stuff is a struggle, inventory is a struggle, the game just occasionally makes bizarre choices (Device manager refreshes? Time to completely reinitiate controller communication!), some of the exploits people have found over time have just been baffling.

I mostly skip live letters at this point and just catch up on recaps, but I'd be fascinated by the dev team doing a deepish dive into some of the limitations of the code base it seems like they're fighting half the time.

I remember when ARR launched people were sitting in town sending commands to the server that would change their character's level, you'd see the chat log spammed with 49 level up messages. It was hilarious except for the fact that it made the game look like it was coded by a bunch of dipshits.

Mind posting your specs?

I'm considering switching from PS4 to PC for Stormblood, and I'm looking for recommendations on what to buy.
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
16GB RAM

That score is for 1080p btw., not some crazy high resolution :p

Got a 9409 (every setting maxed) but the Benchmark does not display in 1440p. =/ So, I'll try again at 1080p.

Yo, my Roe as a SAM is fucking sick. You can see all the AF designs at the end of the test which is neat.

Fucking sick. \o/

Edit: NVM, 1080 is stretched out garbage.

What seems to be like a mini Holy?

I like they added that support ability on DRK, I really wish I could play as that class but I just can't keep aggro on anything, meanwhile on PLD I can be underleveled and undergeared, spam 3-4 flash and then nothing is going to come even close to my enmity, heck I've done better with sword oath when I forget to switch to shield oarth and still do better than plating with DRK...

Two new cards for AST?

On one hand I'm glad I'm getting new cards to play around with but on the other hand I hate the fact that I'm getting new cards to play with because that significantly decreases the chances of drawing Balance.

I think we can't be sure if it's new cards or a new kind of card-using ability.

I'm OK with either scenario but I will say I wish I had the ability to store at least 1 more card with Spread.

Edit: After looking at the footage on YouTube I can almost say for certain they are new Cards because the Astrologian did the Draw Animation along with the appropriate sound effects if this was a new ability Square-Enix wouldn't recycle those assets from Draw.

Seems like a separate skill from Draw. There are only 2 cards (which look like they're face cards Lord and Lady from the deck of Sixty according to the Lore Book).

Plus... I really doubt that AST's balance will remain as is.
