Okay. Zondas. Check.
Is it harder to get the licences for older vehicles? I'm just wondering about the chances of getting some classic Ford love in there (Mk2 Escort, Capri, Escort Cossie, Sierra RS500) as well as some of the more interesting classics (Jag XK120, XJR-9, Austin Healey 3000 Mk2). I like Zondas but they're all much of a muchness. NFS Shift had 3 and the redundancy showed.

NFS Shift also had the GTR Spec V and came out prior to Forza 3 but having played NFS I have no problem believing they didn't have production deadlines to work to!

I've been asking about Cossies and Capris for donkeys, no replies though. There was a thread about it quite a while back on the official forum where a Cossie car pack was rumoured.

Here's something interesting: the clock in the dash of the R35 shows whatever time it currently is on your 360, even if you're watching a replay! So it does show the time, just not the time you raced at.

Still cool that they put that much detail ito it though... it looks AMAZING.

Edit: Also on in-car view, if you look to the passenger side, you can see a row of pixels at the very bottom of the screen that show the road (rather than the interior of the car). But man, they still did a nice job on it!

Oh, and:

Here are some more info.
Prices :

Aston Lola : 1,500,000 Cr
Audi S4 : 48,000 Cr
Audi R15 TDI : 1,500,000 Cr
Ferrari 458 Italia : 250,000 Cr
Ferrari 599XX : 2,500,000 Cr (!!!)
Jaaaaaaaag XFR : 80,000 Cr
Lamborghini SV : 400,000 Cr
Mercedes SLR Stirling Moss : 1,100,000 Cr
Nissan GT-R R35 Spec-V : 150,000 Cr
Porsche Panamera : 130,000 Cr

I've only tested the R15, R35, 599XX and 458 at the moment.
The R15 seems to be a good alternative to the 908s.
R35 is heavy but I think that with some weight reduction it should be a good S class.
The 599XX seems to be gimped as the handling is worse than the FXX.
The Italia is just beautiful and great to drive. It's faster than the Scuderia but a lot less nervous in its reactions when going out of a curb.

I'm going to take pictures now. ;)

Fake edit : the cars do have upgrades !! The GT-R has West, Wald, Top Secret and Abflug side skirts, front/rear bumpers and spoiler. Engine swaps are also in !:D

I've just given it a spin, too... it has the most beautiful exhaust note I've heard so far, and the handling is just sublime. Would just about have to be my favourite car in the whole game, I reckon.

Got the cars :) Love the Sterling Moss!

What's up with the storefront? When I search for everything I only brings up a random 8192 results.

Then when I sort by most downloaded to see the top designs or setups etc. it only shows ones that have been downloaded a couple of hundred times?

Any ideas guys?

I didn't even bother to post 720p photos. The Forza Ruining Photos Compression© was already doing wonders with the Scuderia in this color, it's the same with the 458 Italia... :(

The game is a totally different beast with the wheel - im in love now! It is so easy to push the mark too far with the cars, and you get punished HARD, but when you get it right, its pure sex. I have not had such fun with a 'game' in so long - I cannot recommend getting a wheel for this game enough.

I have been racing the FXX for the R3 championship in career mode, and nailing the apexes and exits feels so damn good!!! Im going to piurchase a Dodge Viper 08 next, seeing as that is the car at the top of most circuit leaderboards.

On the lower class cars I am probably now only 0.5 - 1 second off what I was doing with the controller, but now R3-R1 are drivable with the wheel and no TCS - well most of them anyway, there are still a few a bit too much for me :D

Bought the pack, no 150,000cr :( Are we supposed to get the credits at the same time of buying the pack or what's up with that? :O

Also, I now have to wait 25+ seconds (I measured with my iPhone, so I'm not exaggerating) to have the pop-up that allows me to save my photo. It's also taking forever to scroll through the photos (even the 3 or 4 most recent). I think it may be because of the stuff I deleted this week as it wasn't doing that before. That or my 330+ photos are too much for the game !:lol

Edit : The 150,000 Cr will be for future DLC. It's something that will be added with the future title update. Don't know if it will be possible for Turn 10 to give 150,000 Cr to those who bought this DLC.

Gourgeous pics mckane. Man the GT-R and the 599xx are like the greatest models T10 has put out. I spent like 2-3 minutes just rotating the camera around the car :lol

400MP is a proper bargain
Yeah no excuse not to pick it up, great great great price.

What did burnout paradise charge 800 for three car models?

This is really great value, I'll buy them all if they keep this up.

Clap clap T10!

Quite a few cars have that clock function.

Just downloaded it, will grab the 458 Italia, although I'm saving up for an F40 Evoluzione because I found a skin that looks like the F40 from Sega Super GT/Scud Race. :D

Great car pack and price.

I finally got back around to MP yesterday and had some fun in expert. Too bad T10 can't remove all assists, I guess that's just a dream for many of us. It's a lot better than the normal playlists, but I still want a full sim option.

As a suggestion, I think it might be better to structure the playlists a bit more logically. Instead of expert circuit racing in the Playground, how about put it under normal circuit racing for that class.

I'd love to see this for more classes as well, as would many others. It would be easier to find/understand to most people if the expert option for each class was right under the normal one.

Hopefully a title update won't be needed for each major hopper/playlist change?

My suggestions for the next DLC pack: Radical SR8, Zonda R, Gumpert Apollo, LFA, 911 Sport Classic, SLR 722 GT and Caparo T1 (or would that be an open suspension car that can't be in the game...)

Just picked this up a couple of days ago. Loving it so far.

Quick question on tuning - I had a 350z in Forza 2 that i'd tuned to be exactly how I wanted it. Is the stuff in Forza 3 simmilar enough that I can get away with just copying over the exact same settings for it?

Happy Birthday to me! Forza 3 DLC is out!!

Downloaded the pack this morning before work.

Luckily I have 3.3 Million Dollars in the virtual bank to spend on these new cars.

No, the tuning and physics are different. Might be a decent baseline to start again from, though.

Any pointers towards that F40 skin would be richly appreciated.
If they can just add the short tail McLaren F1 to the next dlc too..

This, a million times over. 400 = insta-buy. 800 = soul searching. 1000+ = FOaD.

It'd be nice to have the option to buy individual cars rather than the whole pack. Avatar accessories can have silly low price points so I don't see why it'd be a problem. Otherwise you can sometimes end up spending 400 points on essentially one car model. I'd like the GTR and the 599FX but the rest of the selection leaves me cold. 200 pts per car = soul searching.

I think the in-game credit system is pretty broken as it is. Paying 400 space bucks for DLC and still having to fork out over 5 to 6 million for the cars? When completing a 10-minute race earns only 50k credits at best? It's ridiculous. If reward cars can actually be sold at the rate of regular cars (ie. 1/2 of original value) then it wouldn't be so bad but as it is, reward cars are worthless if they're a car you don't like at all. There's almost no way of getting any decent value from selling them apart from ripping noobs off on the Auction House.

The Mclaren F1 GTR is 3.8 million credits, for fucks sake. It would take a shitload of races and series to be able to earn enough to own that car and there are so many other cars in the game that costs over a million credits.
