Just finished and wow, what an amazing game.
My mouth was literally wide open during the openning segment, so good.
This series always gets compared to DMC etc but I think that the one big thing this has over them is the amazing world they create. Instead of feeling like I'm just going from room to room and fighting enemies it felt like a damn good adventure game.
The world felt extremely well designed and huge, you were constantly moving forward through new locations with minal backtracking. The character models and all the gruesome animations were a joy to behold.
The combat was the usual GOW, so its fun and works. Lots of great weapons and I liked the little touches like having unique dodge animations for the different weapons.
My only gripe was the flying segments.
