You probably meant only two of those aren't relevant.
Crazy!

Dwindling first party output in what sense? It's not like the game's been cancelled.
This additional story will take place in the world of Gravity Rush 2
F* this.
I'm as forgiving as they come, but Shu Yoshida needs to be held accountable for the "delay culture" (for lack of a better expression) that is now so pervasive in the PS ecosystem that players are actualy surprised when a game is announced and then releases on time.
Thanks for the DLC... I guess?

But as I said earlier, it's not like you can count on a dead Q1 anymore these days, so might as well release when people have both more disposable income and (possibly) time to play. This is more like marketing decision.
Will the JPN demo still work so long as you have PS+? I played it, but the + trial I had ran out already.

After NMS (we know how that turned out, even if I mostly enjoyed it) GR2 was my most awaited game of the year, along with Horizon.
So, yeah...
Why 7 days before RE7 and Yakuza 0. The beginning of January would have been better.
Still thinking RE7 won't get delayed? Cute.
Is this a sequel where people are hoping that it delivers on the promising concept of the first game or is the first game good in it's own right? Been thinking of picking it up.
Yay. I don't have the time to play it in Dec. anyway.
First game is great, you just have to mess around with the gameplay mechanics and piece together the story yourself.
Like one user said that you have to stop Kat to shift in a different direction but if you move the camera so it's facing the direction that you want to move to and press square, Kat will gravity kick in that direction. So you can go in the exact opposite direction without stopping.
There are quite a few things like that that the game doesn't explain to the player and the vaaaaast majority of players didn't realize that it's possible.
F* this.

Delay culture is not a problem and no one needs to apologize for it.

Glad the DLC is free, I didn't realize this is going to be the end of Kay's journey though.....

I find the "conclusion of Kat's journey" part far more upsetting btw
But yeah, terrible timing for me because of Yakuza.
Had already decided to skip RE7 because it's between Yakuza and P5, now I will probably have to skip Yakuza as well.
This is perfect. I'm a game a month type guy.
Oct- Paper Mario
Nov- Dishonored 2
Dec- Last Guardian
Jan- Gravity Rush
Feb- Nier Automata
March- NX
That's a mean streak of good shit.
This so much. Like...fuck.
When almost every game is, it is. Stop announcing release dates when it's not locked, and we'll go back to the odd delay being the exception, instead of it being the quasi rule.Delay culture is not a problem and no one needs to apologize for it.
Early 2017 year of PS4!
Gravity Rush 2
Persona 5
Horizon
Nier 2
Nioh
GT Sport
Dreams
MLB 17
And whatever else they haven't confirmed yet
You really think it works like this or its this simple? When almost every game is, it is. Stop announcing release dates when it's not locked, and we'll go back to the odd delay being the exception, instead of it being the quasi rule.
2015-2016 has been particularly bad in this regard.
On the consumer side, maybe there should be less angst and pressure applied to "get a date" though.
80% of these will be delayed. This is Sony we're talking about.
