I adore the first season....but when i saw the new second season there was something off. The music didnt sound the same and the animation was off like if it was too sharp too HD or something. Is the new season like that?
ЯAW;88430990 said:Yes and it's even less detailed then second season. They do seem to use some the old music, but all the new stuff is on the same level as in the second season.

Ep 5. Oh god, this episode was so funny.
They skipped the Kamogawa backstory completely. It's probably for the best. The composer + director could not bring those feels the way the manga did.
Different director + shitty ass composer kinda changed some of the tone the original had.

Do people really not like the opening? I love it. I mean, it's no Inner Light, but what is?
Inner Light > Hekireki > Under Star = Yakan Hikou > Tumbling Dice
As for the episode, it kind of grew on me. I think the biggest problem is that while Aoki himself is great, his opponent is so boring. I know that's the point, but damn is this guy dull. Aoki's fighting style is hilarious though.
Great episode, Aoki's easily one of the best characters of HnI.
Man, such a good episode. Morikawa has an unmatched ability in getting you to respect every opponent as opposed to other shonen where it's split between good guys and evil rivals.
His voice is unmistakable too. It's so fitting.
Sawamura is an intelligent bully. Hopefully Ippo sets him straight so he can go study.
Sawamura is great so far, pure evil. The fight's going to be great it seems
Animation at its best this episode.
Great episode. Sawamura is one bad motherfucker.
Man, this is some good stuff.I've never read the manga or watched the older anime.
I really like that they've been taking more liberties with the visual presentation this season.
