I like it because it will keep the dumb ass singers and over all douchebags from being idiots. I personally don't mute non English speakers, but I hear people bitch about them all the time. Typically the people being racist, or just flat out assholes about people not speaking English get the mute from me. I would imagine the majority of people do the same.

After reading some of the Waypoint forums, a particular topic caught my eye -

Can we get some sort of confirmation on the number of Spartans there were?

In FoR, it states there are 33 Spartan IIs that survive augmentation, yet somehow an additional 12 are listed as 'active' and appear to have survived the augmentation process (including Jorge). And the way the canon lists things, it appears that there could be up to 62 surviving Spartan IIs from the augmentation process.

Why do you think that is?

I kept trying to figure out what logo lunchbox was talking about (I'm a little slow). If that is going to be the actual icon for Reach, it definitely needs to be changed. However, it seems more likely that it's just a placeholder.

It will help, but I can also see this getting abused. A group of 3 friends playing team games together all mute their 4th random teammate just because they think it's funny. Does that 4th person get a 1-day mic ban or is there more to it?

This whole "leak" thing is getting dumb. Why do kids believe anything from someone who modded the game into his gamer card? Also there are some people who keep saying "oh well he doesnt have all achievements so that proves it!" Well actually you can unlock individual achievements when you mod a game to your profile too, it doesnt have to be all at once! (sorry kind of ranting about the Bungie forums last night)

I've seen each of those three images before. Specifically, the shot of options is from a Comic-Con demo, as is the Forge World pic. The menu looks like the Comic-con build, with the known modes shopped in. And he has Firefight highlighted, which was one of the two modes in the Comic-Con build.

When he shows a new gametype or something not announced, believe.

Looking at the vidoc for Forge World that shot of the Falcon is not in there....the camera is never angled like that behind the falcon in order to allow the person to just be running that video on his tv to take a picture of it.
