Or you could just buy the superior heartgold/soulsilver which works on the 3DS.
where do you see that in his post lol.
I looked at the thread title, OP and saw the last post was on March. That's why i assumed he has an info of upcoming Gen 2 release in the Eshop.I agree with NormalFish. I think you may have misread or misinterpreted that post.
I imagine they'll be on the NX virtual console, which I also imagine will mix Wii U and 3DS.Sorry to bump but is there any new news or whisperings of G/S coming to 3DS? I NEED IT.
There are rumors that NX handheld don't have b/c with 3DS and WiiU. Are you sure that you want to waste your money?Sorry to bump but is there any new news or whisperings of G/S coming to 3DS? I NEED IT.
I really hope they do. Pokemon Gold was the first video game I ever played and I'd love to play it again. With all the money they're making from RBY it would be stupid not to.
Interestingly, a couple of OG GB games, including Tetris, get a color upgrade in a Game Boy Color. Nintendo likely patches those games on the fly since they obviously couldn't account for hardware that didn't exist yet. Nice little feature.
Because that would be too much fun?Hopefully not.
The originally planned starting town was called Silent Hills.
Hopefully not.
Hopefully not.
Apologies for the noob question, but what would be a reason to play earlier generations of Pokemon, given that the newer ones include same Pokemon and more? Are certain Pokemon easier to find in older games, and then transferable via Pokebank?
I'm thinking of jumping in with Sun & Moon.

Because G/S/C are mediocre, and because you can play the actually good version of those games on a 3DS already. FR/LG weren't playable on a 3DS, so R/B/Y being on it made at least some sense.
You can transfer them to Black then Bank. You can't transfer Pokemon from HG/SS to the current gen via Pokemon Bank though.

No Pokemon game has every single Pokemon. For example Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire (The two most recent games) were missing these Pokemon: http://serebii.net/omegarubyalphasapphire/unobtainable.shtml
There's some vague truth to your questions, but really this would more just for nostalgia trips than anything. You should be fine jumping straight into Sun & Moon.
Hopefully not.
