Next Music From Tokyo haven't officially announced this yet but it seems like the plan is for Koutei Camera Girl Drei to actually make their debut in Canada during the October shows, even though they are currently still recruiting members. Hopefully this doesn't end in disaster. Might have to make a trip to Vancouver.

They're a pretty young band, their age range from 19 to 22. Pretty sure they'll be soon picked up by a big label.
(also they're all quite good looking which is a plus)

Ivy to Fraudulent Game will make their major debut through Victor this autumn. I didn't care much for their previous release in 2016, but the mini-album they dropped in 2017 is a billion times better, definitely a breathtaking work, so I'm looking forward to their output going forward

I went One OK Rock's headline show in Dallas last night. They were fantastic! If you're like me and not a fan of Ambitions, I'd say definitely go. They played most of the album and it sounded excellent live, they also played Clock Strikes and The Beginning, which is as far as I know, a first for the US. The first on band was okay (Palisades), the second was....well, not my cup of tea and I'll leave it at that.

I wanna buy Crying End Roll, but I don't think there's really any point the more I think about it. I need to stop buying as many physical CDs, so I'd buy it digitally, but then... it's on Spotify, so I'm listening to it through that. It's over 3000 yen to buy it, which is a lot, and then bands hardly get anything from CD sales. I guess... there is no point in buying this album, sadly. I really loved all the singles, though.

That was one of the first three Japanese bands I started listening to when I was like 11. Followed them all the way until maybe freshman year of college and kinda lost interest. I'll check out the single, though.

I like this. I also like Moumoon though, ha.

Every time I see a new Perfume single coming out I just get sad, because I have no hope for them anymore. They look great though.

Lots of great all-female rock bands lately, that's good to see

Need to keep an eye on 嘘とカメレオン, definitely going to be one of the next break out bands. First nationwide release in september, no doubt this is going to be a major step.

I did actually! Title track is pretty great. I feel like DIS is TEKI has been out for a while so I was surprised to see it on the single. Still a damn fun track.

That album sounds pretty old-school, that's surprising. Haven't listened to them in a minute so I'm excited for it.

I'm seeing VMO and Necronomidol tonight. Been looking forward to this show for a while. It's also at a venue I really like.

Fourth time seeing VMO and first time seeing Necronomidol.

The strobelights at VMO's show were intense. I couldn't see very well in the moshpit. Somebody had their arms up and punched me in the face. I guess I've had worse at shows. Haha

Edit: So tell me about this white dude that manages (produces? Dunno) Necronomidol. He was in charge. Even got up on stage to apologize in keigo that they couldn't perform an encore due to time constraints.
