You know what's more hilarious? My friend who is like a total Naruto fan was telling me about this scene from the manga at college JUST TODAY. He was laughing his ass off but he was a Sasuke fan so it was more like he was laughing at Naruto for being such a whiny bitch.
He has practically spoiled the whole Naruto series but this one had me laughing too. Then I come on GAF and see the exact same thing and with GIFs to boot... FUCKING PRICELESS!
Personally I never hated Sasuke like some of the other people but I don't have some creepy infatuation to him either. He is like one of those standard power hungry, genius villains/rival that every Shounen anime needs/has to counter balance the lead character.
I personally think it's great that they are making Sasuke all GODLIKE in the series because it seems that they are setting up the stage for a final showdown in which there will only be 2 main characters left standing and it will be like a battle for the world's best. Naruto will win out in the end of course and I hope Sasuke dies, it will be an epic death. But I am sure the author will cop out and make Sasuke all goody 2 shoes again and they will be buddy buddy for life.
Man I still haven't seen Naruto post-time arc... but I guess I will do this after the series ends.

You know, I actually liked Sasuke in part 1. Never was his biggest fan, but he complemented Naruto quite well. Naruto being the silly powerhouse, Sasuke being the technique-specialist. Both had strengths and weaknesses.
In part 2, however, Sasuke has EVERYTHING. While Naruto was a bitch for most part of the story, then had one great fight, then became a bitch, again.
Sometimes I wonder if Kishimoto knows how unlikable he made "his" Sasuke. But then I fear for the day Sasuke becomes Hokage, so I stop thinking about it...
