I can't say that would have been among the possibilities I thought of. Basing it off a two week old joke is sort of poor justification IMO. Especially when the speculation around MM has been ongoing before and since then.

It's horrible I won't be receiving Season 1 until January 8 but it will still be in time for Season 2, so it's all fine.

I don't need any justification. Taking a statement that MM is not in a show and guessing that means that he is in another show is kind of a leap in and of itself. With powers of deduction like that, you wouldn't have had to rely on speculation, you'd know proof positive. Regardless, my intent wasn't to spoil anything.

And my wife completely understands my infatuation with Haley Atwell, particularly with her as Agent Carter.

That is a magnificent picture of her, and fits the time period perfectly as well.
