The characters and tone in S1 were great they just need to work on pacing and a better story.

I can definitely see Season 2 having that big jump in quality


On a side note, my blu ray copy of season 1 arrived today. I'm not sure about you folks in the US, but the broadcast quality here in Canada was awful and had some fuzzy vaseline filter on it. The blu ray is still intentionally soft but much clearer and an absolute joy to watch.

Marvel&#8217;s Agent Carter is bulking up its cast as the series heads to Hollywood for Season 2. The Newsroom alumna Wynn Everett, Lotte Verbeek (The Fault In Our Stars), Currie Graham (Pompeii) and Reggie Austin (Devious Maids) have joined as regulars for the second season of the ABC action-drama series. In addition, Dominic Cooper and Megan Regan, who recurred last season will both be back for Season 2. Cooper will reprise his role as Howard Stark and Regan will be back as Dottie. Marvel TV made the announcements today at New York Comic-Con.

They say Megan Regan, but they mean Bridget Regan.

Wynn Everett will be playing Madame Masque/Whitney Frost.
Lotte Verbeek will be playing Ana Jarvis.
