Once again, I stress that Sonic Team should look at the success of New! Super Mario Brothers and try to create Sonic Rush 2 or something like that that is just as great as NSMB.

What the hell is love and berry collection? Sales like that are generally reserved for Nintendo games. I'm missing something there (probably a Japan thing).

It's actually this magic witch game aimed for six year old girls with a card collecting aspect (the game comes with something like the e-Reader but for Love and Berry cards).

And why compare Nintendo handhelds vs Sony handhelds? Its been the same for 16+ years now, Nintendo wins handhelds. Oh my God this is new and exciting. Sense the sarcasm in my post?

Many here are predicting total and utter defeat for Sony when it comes to home consoles, where they have obliterated Nintendo since 94' and MS since 01'. Don't you think we should track this so called "downfall"?

Sounds just like Mono!

Anyway, the thing is that everyone thought the PSP would end the DS's reign in the handheld market. Check past sales threads if you aren't Mono.

Kirby DS sold 276K in 2005. This new Kirby is WAY passed that already.

You might have had an argument had the Nintendo DS started off on a great foot and simply trampled all over the PSP out of the gate, but Sony was poised to take over next-gen handhelds....until Nintendogs and Brain Training came out. That's when the tide turned. So no, the DS isn't really winning on the strength of Nintendo's name recognition in the handheld arena alone, mostly on the strength of its games.
