So far Pacers have put on the best fight lol

Star Power is the thing in the playoffs. The Pacers put up a good fight because Paul George is great and can single-handedly make any game competitive. Lowry is in theory that guy for Toronto but of course he got hurt.

Isaiah Thomas is not that guy. Not even close.

The funniest thing in these playoffs so far is 538's NBA model slightly favoring the Celtics in this series before game 1.

Nate Silver should just stick to baseball and politics.

Nate needs to develop an algorithm for coasting:
If LeBron James = 1 then +40
If LeBron James = 0 then +0
All yours Nate

Most algorithms I've seen that try to predict the success of a basketball team have a hard time with teams that have a lot of role players like the Celtics. The deep end of the C's bench is better than a lot of other teams but it really shouldn't matter, especially in the playoffs.

They should have just ended the series when IT tried to go 1 on 1 with Lebron earlier in the first half. Refs should have just blown the whistle and turned off all the lights in the stadium telling everyone to go home. It was done deal at that point.

bish gets all the credit :)
KD will be coming to the Cavs after the Warriors lose to them. That frees up a roster spot for Paul George.

Cavs and GS basically have 7 of the top 25 players in the league and 3 of them are at minimal top 7. The talent gap is massive.

6 out of top 20 sounds better, Love isn't top 25 anyway. Lebron's disdain for Eastern Conference competition has been the most enjoyable part of these playoffs outside of like 4 games.

If Blake and Kawhi were healthy we wouldn't be having this discussion in the West, although Kawhi will be back for game 3 hopefully.

Didn't 538 say Hilary was a lock to win?

I guess they should stick to baseball.

Actually their model routinely gave Trump better odds than the rest and Silver spent a lot of time warning people that he could win.

In other news, all those glaring flaws of the Celtics showed themselves today.
