Hoping this game is the sequel I've always wanted for Crackdown. But I'm sceptical.
That looks different than what they showed at E3. But still I call bullshot.
So much this.Or that you should not judge a game by Youtube pictures. Especially one that features an art style that is simply compressed away.
Day one
Microsoft needs to fucking hurry and bring the original to backwards compatible and none of that pre order bullshit.
My guess is, Gamescom announced Crackdown 3 comes with all One X pre-orders.
Crackdown 3 also becomes available for digital pre-order that day, comes with codes for 1 and 2.
1 and 2 available for BC that day.
We have a thread about a person messing up a $50 eshop card. I think this one is acceptableWhy does one screenshot deserves a new thread?
Looks like the new Crackdown. Like they have shown.
I like the artstyle.
Can't wait for the sheep filled antihype train that will fill this thread.
Nope. That's the exact same artstyle.
Edit: Just to make sure for the people who have no clue: this image is not native resolution. It's enlarged and compressed.
What in the world is this mess? It's like they couldn't decide if they wanted to make this cartoony or realistic, so they slapped a realistic head and shaders on a cartoon character's body (his arm muscles are so heavily stylized, it's like an entirely different art style). That black outline seriously makes no sense here.Apparently this is what the cutscenes look like:
Different artstyle than the game, probably pre-rendered in a different engine from a cgi company.
That looks better than anything they showed at E3.
Which says more of how terrible the game looked at E3 than anything.
Does it really look better than this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hirJBN9nuoY
Take out the compression and looks just about the same to me.
I think he means this:
E3:
After E3:
Gameplay
Cutscenes (assuming pre-rendered obviously)
It does. MP is cloud powered.I'm starting to wonder if MP and Single player just look different from one another. This game has had moments looking really nice and other times it looks pretty average.
I remember when Crackdown 1 was not looking too hot in the months leading up to release and was getting a fair amount of criticism, and it got just enough polish before its release date. Hoping for the same with Crackdown 3.
It lifts and separates. What's the purpose of the "tactical ass cheek suit"?
THAT, YOUNG MAN, IS HOW BABIES ARE MADE.
Or that you should not judge a game by Youtube pictures. Especially one that features an art style that is simply compressed away.
What a weird trailer. Was that suppose to be the game model at the end?
