It really isn't 5 seperate games. merge the 3 games into 1 to form Hallf Life 2, add a secret unlockeble called Portal and add an online mode in the form of Team Fortress. Call this game The Orange Box.

Let's put a secret game like Paper Mario and an Online experience like Brawl together with Mario Galaxy and call it the "Mustauche box". Best single game ever.

4 ten thousand = 40,000 in Japan
10 ten thousand = 100,000 in NA

500,000 seems achievable. Word of mouth should do it some favours in NA and EU.

Anyway, whatever the numbers are, this game deserves every single one, plus another 150% of those. Of course, it also deserved an advertising campaign, so I guess you take what you can get.

Well, you know how it is with NPD these days... Strict protocol for posting numbers, hints, and all that... sonycowboy said he was allowed to post the numbers for this game (and those of 2 other games) very soon, so I think we will definitely know soon enough what's up.

Sales-age needs a FAQ so people don't look so dumb (the first page of this thread is embarrassing GAF) and can understand that there's a difference in the amount a game like NMH and a game like FFXIII need to sell to be profitable.

Not all games cost 20-30+ million to make people, and yes, there are games that can just sell ~20K and be profitable.

all i know is that the eb i work out sold out of the few copies they got in day one, and were sold out again a couple of weeks later. i know we got at least two copies traded in that pretty much went out the door again.

i don't know how many ubi shipped, nor do i know if my store is representative of others, but 100,000 doesn't sound unreasonable given that a lot more people seem to have played the game at this point than had played killer 7 at the same point.

it may be a fake number, but i strongly doubt it only did 40,000.
