I hope Norm sponsors a product every episode.
I listened to the first half on the way to work. Probably the best episode so far. I was consistently laughing out loud.Uh, Andy Dick episode is now available: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3UqEgL1VXI
Not that I care if it's live or anything, but was surprised to see a full episode posted as I figured they'd just take the week off.
No more flare ups! No more dry meat!
if bruce vilanch is really the next guest I hope it leads to norm and adam eget cohosting the oscars
Kind of an off-topic bump, but are there any episodes of other podcasts (Maron, Carolla etc) with Norm as the guest from the past year or so?
He kind of dropped off the face of the earth for a few years. He did a bunch of podcasts to promote Sports Show when that was on but he's been pretty much MIA since then.Kind of an off-topic bump, but are there any episodes of other podcasts (Maron, Carolla etc) with Norm as the guest from the past year or so?
This is now my go-to podcast for when I'm bored. Shame there's only one a week, although I suppose that's better than having several watered down episodes a week.
Only Norm can make you laugh by saying "ya know 9-11 was a national tragedy". I don't get how he does it but he does.
I agree but I still think he does good interviews. He is insightful and to some extent his own flaws help to draw interesting things out of his guests. This may not be the right place to ask, but when has Marc Maron been funny? Best I can tell he just seems unpleasant to be around, says fuck a lot and he still somehow gets amazing guests.
Was there an episode last night?
edit: Looks like there wasn't. Video Podcast Network absolutely sucks. Any decent "podcast" has a schedule or at least a place where announcements are made.

It'd be nice if Gilbert used his real voice.
Not likely, but it'd be nice.
Was expecting the Gottfried episode to be bad for some reason
Another amazing episode. The intro kind of didn't land for me though. I guess you can't have a 100% success rate. Was expecting the Gottfried episode to be bad for some reason, but it turned out to be pretty damn funny. The Michael Douglas stuff was hilarious.
Everything Gilbert touches is golden.
He's one of those guys you just somehow get conditioned to think isn't funny until you really just hear him flow and he's so funny and so natural about it. His stuff on Penn Jillette's podcast is great too.
That's so true. I had always thought he would be awful. He's also great on the comedy central roasts. He's one of those guys you just somehow get conditioned to think isn't funny until you really just hear him flow and he's so funny and so natural about it. His old sit-ins during the news on Howard Stern are legendary. The new politically correct Stern doesn't quite go for the same thing, but thankfully his old appearances are up on Youtube.
I just wasted 30 minutes waiting for a broadcast because the message that the show is only returning next week doesn't show up for me (had to find out from a friend)
To be honest I didn't see it either. I had to look elsewhere (maybe Twitter, don't even remember) to find it.
Are you in the U.S.?
Here is what my friend from the states sees on the page:
