FFS, RB 2 Wii still hasn't been released in PAL areas.

Even TB:RB was region free. HMX did everything correct and they still got destroyed. Absolutely disgusting.

Did a bit of digging around... pretty common problem I was having. Only remedy is to switch TV to "game mode" which is awful looking. Why the hell would RB1/2 be perfectly fine but not this?

Well, it's rated for 12 year olds in EU at least, because of "sexual content" & "bad language". I haven't noticed either so far o_O I suck at hearing lyrics though...

And damn, some songs on bass are insanely hard :( And one of them is in the Beginner tier o_O

I guess "I'll make love to you" in Tomorrow Never Knows, amongst other suggestive lyrics (Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds), warranted the T rating.

I'm assuming thats part of it. I mean, GH5 is rated T as well and they censored out the word drunk in the Blink 182 song.

There's definitely a few lyrical concerns. I mean, you do say "wet dream" fairly often in I Got A Feeling and "pornographic priestess" in I Am The Walrus.

My wife surprised me with this tonight.

It was just the Xbox 360 game, and not the entire kit. I had to dust off my old Rock Band 1 instruments as I haven't played any GH/RB for about a year.

It really is a beautiful game. I've actually found myself just staring at the backgrounds and missing all kinds of notes because of it. For some reason, a big ass Yellow Submarine floating across my 50" screen just sends me into fits of laughter. I can tell that a lot of love went into this. The photos/interviews and other extras are phenomenal. Its a cornucopia of Beatles history that you're not likely to find in very many other packages.

They had four album in the top ten and all 16 in the top 60. I think it's just Rock Band, unfortunately.

RB 2 has never seen an australian release. The Beatles bundles are seemingly impossible to find. sometimes i think about giving them my money, but at this rate it will never happen.

If you walk into a GAME or JB-HiFi you should be able to find a beatles bundle pretty easily.

but I agree that the whole Rock Band situation in PAL territories is fucked.

Your hand isnt used to playing this type of game yet. Give it time and you will get used to it. It shouldnt take too long though.

Sometimes it may be the guitar that you are using. My left hand cramps when using the GH Xplorer or WT guitar. OTOH, it is perfectly at ease using the Strat.

I picked up TBRB and Abbey Road CD this past weekend. Totally feeling the Beatlesmania, but I think I oversaturated myself a little with their music. Loving the friends leaderboard feature! Harmonies are so fun once you get the hang of them, and not sound like a robot while singing.

My shoulder cramps when using the Hofner bass, but that is because it is larger than the GH3 Les Paul, which is what I was used to. But after a few days it doenst happen anymore.

also, how many fingers do you guys play with? all 4 or 3? im struggling with red and blue chords, my fingers just can't seem to work out which is red and which is blue...but only when i require both at the same time :D

Four fingers. The way things go, Easy introduces you to the basic gameplay, Medium introduces you to the use of your pinky, Hard introduces you to moving your hand up and down, and by the time you play Expert, you'll be a real man. Here's a tip though : Use your index finger to hit the red and green frets.

"The claw" sounds like you're pressing too hard. Experiment with hitting the buttons with as little pressure as will work.

For the 3 or 4 finger question, it's sorta both. You want your index finger at home on the red button so your stronger finger gets to deal more with shifting down to green when you need it.

However there are some things like a 4th to 5th fret trill, where i'll shift so my index finger is on yellow or even blue so i have stronger fingers in play for that much movement. This kind of thing doesn't pop up too often, but sometimes I shift higher if i need stronger fingers for a moving part my pinky just doesn't want to do well.

getting much better at it now, most of the way through the story on medium, i usually get 90%+ on every song, so not quite 5 starred them but getting towards it. really enjoying it now, haven't even setup the drum kit yet :D

To get an album into the top 60, you only need to sell around 2000 copies. I think that, in general, this Beatles business hasn't been even half as large as they hoped.

When I first started playing these types of games my hands hurt bad but over time it goes away although I usually still get shoulder cramps if I play for too long.

I had a lot of issues & pain from using the hofner at first as well. I'm not used to standing while playing guitar but I have to now, mainly because the neck is so long. It's hurts my arm because I have to hold it all up. And I have always held my guitars so tightly in fear of dropping them that my thumb, middle finger & little finger (is it called that?) hurt after playing & they ached for two days after playing TB:RB on 090909. But I've learned to hold it better it seems. Once I lowered the guitar as far as the strap allows, it works pretty good. Now I mostly ache around my shoulders & neck from standing for so long (and omg my feet :lol). But at least my fingers don't feel like they're about to fall of anymore. I don't know what I'd do if my hands were destroyed :(

I think in the case of the UK, it's just a matter of noone there really knowing the band. In the US the events like the Ed Sullivan Show, Shea Staduim, and Mark David Chapman's trial got so big and are so historic that we forget that the rest of the world doesn't always listen to our groups. I'm sure if they got a little radio play over there, people might start taking notice of them.

So am i totally missing how to do the harmonies. Im playing my guitar adn want to just sing the harmonies so I have my mic plugged in, but nothing. I go online, and the insger choses harmonies as well but i still dont get to sing. Can someone help me out please?
