PDF says that the install base is 3.3m, so the ratio has shrunk. So, assuming PS4 has managed to maintain its 1.5 ratio, that would be 1.8 : 1.2 mil respectively.
If not, then probably around 1.7:1.3
Meh, was hoping for more up to date figures from this. We already got 3.5 million figure at end of Feb.
Niko Partners estimates that at least 1.2 million game console units were sold each year in China during the eight year period from 2002 to 2009.
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD
PS4 (78%)
XBO (22%)
Resident Evil Revelations 2
PS4 (52%)
XBO (23%)
PS3 (13%)
360 (11%)
Mind boggling that they even bothered, after what happened last gen with a much more even deck.lttp but this is in XB1's 2nd strongest country. Counting the differential in the rest of EU and Japan, I'm guessing the ratio could be 85 maybe even nearing the 90%.

Very interesting tidbit from the report
Keep in mind with RE:REV 2 it was released much earlier via episodic digitally. So the sales are going to be skewed towards it's digital release moreso than normal.
Pretty great for HLM2. Not bad for Ori. Nice to see ZAT doing well too.
Would be nice if we started to get charts that take digital sales into account too.
MCV are going to try to do this from now on.
If the UK charts included digital sales data, last week an entirely new IP would have been No.1 - the Paradox-published Cities: Skylines. The game sold 60,000 copies over 10 days in the UK alone.
Elsewhere, indie sequel Hotline Miami 2 would have been at No. 4.
One other new IP would have cracked the Top 10 on digital sales alone: Ori and the Blind Forest on Steam and Xbox One.
Second-week digital sales of Sniper Elite spin-off Zombie Army Trilogy UK studio Rebellions first self-published game on console actually push the title up the chart when download numbers are paired with boxed figures. Minecraft gets a similar lift.

We haven't gotten a 2 million announcement for the PS4 yet, so I'd say it's 1.8 : 1.5 as of January 24th.
Wait, how?
So, maybe tommorow will be announcement that install base is now 3.8 mil. and ratio has shrunk. So, Xbone is selling, PS4 not.
This report is over a year old.
Just it was behind a paywall before. But the 1.2m+ was known.
I think on average it's around ~2m per year at the moment with peak almost reaching 3m and lowest being 1.2m.
Of course this number includes all consoles from all manufacturers sold in China. (Yes, local manufacturers as well)/

It just means that PS4 hasn't been outselling XB1 by as much as before. So whilst PS4 outsold XB1 in November + December it was likely not by much (XB1 outsold PS4 in November). As holiday sales make up a large percentage of annual sales XB1 only had to sell close to PS4 for the ratio to come down.
Because Sony didn't yet annonced 2 mil. milestone ( and why should they ), Welfare's conclusion is sales gap has shrunked. Go figure! LOL.

I expect with the release of bloodborne numbers we might get an announcement about 2m in UK..
may not be this week.. may be week after next.
2 million sold or shipped?
Both seem extremely unlikely just for the UK. I'd expect first week numbers to be around 75k to 90k. It'll take the top spot for sure, there's precious little else in competition and it'll likely stay in the top ten for at least three/four weeks.

We haven't gotten a 1.5 mil. announcement for Xbone yet. So, how your conclusion is that gap has shrunk?

If the ratio some how stayed the same, PS4 would of been 2.2m and Xbox One at 1.1m. That's impossible
Who gives out 1.5m announcements?
I was talking about the sales ratio gap, which before hand was 1.5:1.
First announcement was 3 mil. PS4/Xbones sold in UK a few days ago.
