Not a problem at all. Not gonna criticize admiration here. No need to get all defensive about it.
Water balloons. The photo is taken right after exploding, when the balloon has contracted already but the water has not moved too much.

I'd like to think that there was no major editing going on after. If they could get the balloons to burst in a way that the bits disappeared behind the water/head, then they wouldn't have to 'shop them out.

I can't tell if you're joking or not. I remember seeing the picture during the celebrations. I suppose the site could've been duped but I see no reason to believe that is the case.

There's nothing to "get", it's just a cool little image.
Also, I only just noticed the tie pin thing he's wearing..
His famous Hipstler stache and 3rd reich symbol on his tie are photoshopped out. And it's colorized. That's pretty much just it. If I'd just seen the shopped version of the photo I admit I may not have recognized him. For that reason I think it may have been a 'cooler' picture if it didn't include the original.
