I mean, seriously. You can't beat this.
Taken in Yodobashi Camera, Akihabara.
This is going to be my first Pokemon game, ever. Game looks sweet.
New Mewtwo looks great. Dont know why everyone is hating..
where are these little comics coming from?

I'm dying.
BTW, does anyone have a list of all previous gen Pokemon that appeared in any media regarding Pokemon X/Y? Would it be safe to assume all of those Pokemon are going to be catchable in game?
those powerful, piercing eyes.
So it's either a form of Mewtwo or one of those "next gen pallet swaps".
I don't mind his design, but nothing can top the perfection that is Mewtwo:
Great, looks like I just fell into this rabbit hole of figurines now. Just ordered one.
I've been pretty open to most of the changes in this gen, but I hate MewHalf here.people fear change...

I can't relate to the 'problem' of too many legendaries. I like catching legendaries, it's one of the more satisfying things to do in these games. The more the better, really.
I just realized how many joints his tail has
...how much is this again?
Not sure if someone mentioned something like this before in this thread but:
Why should this be a new form for Mewtwo? Mewtwo is not a different form of Mew, but a clone. What if it's another clone attempt and therefore a separate pokemon. I think that would tie in pretty well with the speculations on XY focusing on genetics.
Also, it might be a "baby" Mewtwo like Phione is to Manaphy, not being able to evolve into Mewtwo. Again making kind of a separate entity.
According to the scientific logs found in the Pokémon Mansion of Cinnabar Island, Mewtwo was born of a pregnant Mew, found deep in the jungles of Guyana, whose embryo had been tampered with to alter its DNA. It was held and studied in the mansion where the scientists, including Blaine and Mr. Fuji, performed horrific gene-splicing experiments that made it vicious and extremely powerful. It eventually broke free of the Mansion, destroying it in the process, and fled. It can be encountered in Cerulean Cave, accessible only after a Trainer has proven his or her skill at the Indigo Plateau.
That is subjective, especially since mewtwo looks like a weird cat fetus, I would recon maybe someone is idolizing their childhood a bit too hard.
They dont look that different just a different kind of cat fetus
Actually, in the games Mewtwo isn't a clone...Mew gave birth to it, and then they modified its genes:
Only in the Anime Canon is it a clone. I actually like the Anime Plot better though, but regardless both touch upon the idea of humanity tampering with nature and the effects thereof.

Mr Fuji ? The old peaceful man who prayed and looked after the graves of dead pokemon ? Who would of known he would be involved in horrible experiments ? Plus the connection to Blaine ?
Just how deep is this conspiracy ?
That is kind of what cloning is though. You implant a modified embryo into a surrogate mother and then it is born like a normal baby.
And for the record, I think asshead Mewtwo looks like crap. OG Mewtwo looks like a goddamn Space Cat God, and Asshead Mewtwo has his ass glued to the back of his head.
to be fair, you only think that because you're accustomed to seeing the appendage as a tail

It looks like they moved his tail and put it on his head. Who would have thought this is what Mewthree would be.
If they had not wanted comparisons drawn between Asshead and Mewtwo, they should not have given them similar designs. People will compare Plusle and Minun to Pikachu because they look alike. Asshead and Mewtwo are compared on these same, entirely legitimate, grounds.
But nowhere in the games does it say that that is how Mewtwo is born. In fact, judging from the Pokedex entries claiming Mewtwo's attitude comes from the experiments, I always figured that he was born a normal Mew and then experimented on.
The game just says Mew gave birth to Mewtwo, though. Never does it say that she was impregnated artificially.
Also the crazy part is that nice Mr. Fuji is hinted at being involved with the whole thing. Maybe he spends his time with Pokemon in Lavender town to atone for what he did on Cinnabar.
Well I'm just saying, that's literally nostalgia talking. There's nothing wrong with feeling that way, but it's denying reality to claim otherwise.
