I don't understand how people get excited for these old ass roms.
Call me when they announce a new TCG.
I guess... I'd rather play something new but ok.There are people that didnt get to play these games when they were first released or just want to relive them - not that hard to figure out.
OMG this was a great game. Well, when I was a kid it was. Hopefully I'm not just remembering it with rose-colored glasses, anyone play it more recently? Hopefully it'll hit the US eShop soon enough.

Fast menus but as the speedrun showed there are so many cheese strategies (the mid-game 1xScyther only deck* being one that springs to mind)
*-What were to happen if Scyther was in the prizes (you would never have a Pokemon in hand...) or doesn't it work like that.
The fact that they haven't put them up already is some seriously stupid decision making on Nintendo's part. Easy money, and I doubt it'd splinter off the fanbase anymore than the 2D retro Mario and Donkey Kong games up on the eShop have with their respective 3DS software counterparts.Does this mean we have a better chance of getting Red/Blue/Yellow/Gold/Silver/Crystal?
Does this mean the traditional RPG's are coming?

This release might show them that there is a demand and influence the development of a new game. win/win

Something tells me that these would sell well by eShop standards regardless of whether or not they'd be able to implement multiplayer.Considering it'd lose the multiplayer aspect, which is why Pokémon is so popular, they have made the right decision.

Doesn't matter if they'd sell. Nintendo/GameFreak aren't EA. They don't like releasing severely gimped software.

Clearly releasing a Pokemon gameboy game without retaining its connectivity features is beneath Nintendo.Doesn't matter if they'd sell. Nintendo/GameFreak aren't EA. They don't like releasing severely gimped software.
Still got my cart
I mean, I guess that's true but it doesn't seem to keep them from releasing other multiplayer GB/GBC/GBA games on the Virtual Console?Doesn't matter if they'd sell. Nintendo/GameFreak aren't EA. They don't like releasing severely gimped software.
