For the fallen posters Trump took from us, rest in peace

The Technomancer

card-carrying scientician
I'm not convinced he even realizes his entire life is no longer in his control and is now 100% public.

Tweets like that don't appear to paint a picture of a man who even realizes the election is over.
This is an impending train wreck, but I have no idea who it will advantage when it finally crashes

I think your Rust Belt initiative is doomed to failure and a stopgap even if you could do it.
I understand that there's a lot of uncertainty in regards to the long term viability, however is something that you could likely deliver and it makes sense, maybe not economically though. I know that it can be a stopgap even if materialized, but to others, that would be a chance, an opportunity, an expression that their plight doesn't go unnoticed and that we have plans to get them to be back on their feet. That has value.

I also think it can help win votes obviously.

He's gonna keep tweeting, huh.

Well, America is over folks. Wrap it up.

I'm not sure how this works. How does he Tweet when he's president? Don't those have to be archived and preserved as public record? Don't they have to go through some kind of agency?

Obama had to specifically label the Tweets that came from him, and I don't imagine he just made them without having them screened and archived.

This Trump tweet is very encouraging to me. It shows that we can still get to him. Trump is a small, pathetic man. The idea that of a nation of people he is supposed to lead hating him will haunt him for his entire term.

What more did we expect. He never changed throughout the campaign, even at its lowest. He will be as oppressive as the republican party allows.

That is a good point. That is actually very encouraging.

How would that be a good thing when he get the nuclear codes...

HE HAS THE FUCKING NUCLEAR CODES

With an AG that thinks BLM is a terrorist organization, the first protests when a black person is gunned down under Trump is going to be brutal.

Edited because Trump is now the fucking president

I don't know how you can find that encouraging. If anything that's even more frightening.

You know what it's not just bigotry on further thought.

It's an acceptance of or even motivation by really a fundamental lack of decency.

We're forgetting the President-elect of the United States stood on a stage and mocked a disabled person. And people cheered. He kicked a kid with cerebral palsy out of his rally. He bragged about sexually harassing and/or assaulting women.

And they voted for him. It's the ultimate individialistic don't care, fuck you want mine. And people are talking about how we'll solve this by being nice to them? By socialism exclamation mark.

It's okay. Because anxiety. And we should all be okay with that.

Decency is the loser in your election.

Like seriously, we're headed for some of the most violent protests in recent history.

I fully expect Trump to eventually mobilize forces against them.

"Wow Chicago is saying really mean things about me. What's the smallest nuke we got? Send it over there! Sad!"

Is it wrong of me to have wanted Obama to mobilize forces against trump. I'd rather have Obama as a dictator than Trump as a president.

You know what folks. Let him tweet. Use it as fuel to go out and get involved, get organized and do your best to make your voice heard. Don't be fucking complacent. This is our country.

I was going to tell you that it's insane to even think that he would launch them... but then I really thought about it and now I'm stressed again.

This is a stupid hypothetical, but if Trump wanted to, could he actually Nuke part of America? Just like, straight up Nuke a city where heavy protests are going on if he wanted to? There has to be a bunch of checks blocking him from doing that kind of thing right?

I'm sorry that's an insane thing to say, but I can actually see Trump doing it in a fit of sociopathic rage if the protesting got bad enough. I just feel like he can't... right?

Honestly guys keep some things to yourselves. Trump is the president elect now, and you know that Voat and other places patrol this site to mock us. I would fully expect them to report certain posts to the Secret Service.

lol

if only that worked during the eleciton.

yea, unfortunately the world is really going to see how unfit he is for this job. Imagine him tweeting something like that from the official POTUS twitter handle? He's going to show his ass more times than not and his speeches will probably be dictatorish.

You know he's watching the news and seeing this shit.

You're kind of rambling there in the end... Im with you on no longer playing nice... and I never wanted to play nice with them from the start when it comes to the GOP way back when Obama was first elected.

But where would you like the platform to be on policy?
