As far as that Rogue POTUS account, why would any leaker use a service like Twitter that literally saves incriminating evidence as you use it? That is really, really dumb. Real leakers use stuff like Signal or Confide to least attempt to covers your tracks.

The Rogue account seems like a random person nothing special about him. Not everything is super spyish sometimes people just like making joke accounts.

Which is basically how RT operates. They syndicate enough legitimate programming that when it comes time to push their agenda people will defend them. You can see it very clearly in the OT whenever RT comes up, there's a defense force that falls for their shtick. There's a reason they keep to the same plan: it works.

But what about Larry King!!

Lol CNN just showed Trump predicting that it pass on Thursday, saying it will be a winning vote. After he finished trying to sell the bill.

To be fair I doubt 30s is the absolute floor. 25% like Bush's lowest approval is probably ABSOLUTE rock bottom for the GOP.

Totally disagree. It can go lower. Absolutely nothing has happened under Trumps administration yet that hasn't been self-inflicted. Poll numbers almost always go down after an event or a disaster of some kind, and Trump is not going to handle pressure well.

Trump could tell a segment of the population to kill their first born because it would help lessen the strain on the economy and they probably would.

I've been saying all along.

Assume it will pass unless we know we have the numbers to vote against it.

We need 21 house GOP members to vote against it. We aren't even close to that..

Aren't there like 40 members of the Freedom Caucus? Along with the moderates who are on the no side.

But Ted Cruz has clearly never played basketball so their discussion is about...?

Sure he has.

Are they actively trying to make the bill worse? Wow.
The people looking to tank the bill are those that want to gut Medicaid expansion next year, not 2020. They want to go back to the full 2015 repeal bill that was veto'd by Obama.

So...yes. Yes they do.

An individual policy of a young adult is much more profitable then a family policy where that individual is a dependent.

Literally no young adult is going to get insurance. Not only can they not afford it, but most of them don't believe they even need it.

Covering young adults for two additional years pretty much costs nothing to an insurance company.

Getting people off of their parents' plans is a net good in a vacuum for the system as a whole. Yes, young adults are more profitable- but that's because they're generally healthy, which is why you want as much buy-in as possible from them to help cover everyone else.

The issue is that we should just be subsidizing this stuff nationally instead of making it employment based.

The opposition to AHCA is lead by conservatives and the 22 districts where Clinton won are not on the no list.

Ideally this would pass the house and then die in the Senate.

This is the key problem with ACA and will be even worse with AHCA is that they won't purchase it. But the fact still stands, if the insurance can get people to get on separate policies earlier, it is more profitable.

The benefit for lowering the age is that you are make the risk pool younger and healthier, thereby lowering premiums. Good luck getting that through though!

Actually, with no individual mandate it makes the change pretty much worthless. Like the rest of this bill!

This is a good thing. We don't want it to pass the house, ideally, and it really doesn't look like it has the votes to pass either the House or Senate.

The whole "REACH OUT TO THOSE 22" thing is ridiculous- if your opponent is hanging from a cliff, don't offer them a a rope!

Do we have an OT PSA thread for Ossoff yet? The special election is less than a month away and people really need to know about his exploits, like slaying shirtless Darth Vader.

No shit. They tried to slander him because he dressed up like Han Solo one time? That makes him awesome.

Did anyone bring up the FBI investigation to Spicey today?

Gonna be funny in a few years when photos of people from drunken nights in college will be used in attack ads.
