Rock Band 3 |OT|

I am so ready for a new Rock Band on PS4/XB1. Fix all the technical quirks from Rock Band 3, improve the calibration system, make it run smoothly with 60 fps and let us transfer all our DLC over to the new system.

Also if we cannot use our old GH guitars... try and make the new one like the Warrior of Rock guitar which was by far the best one. Rock Band guitars have always sucked.

Me too man. It's been long enough that I really miss Rock Band now even though I was a bit oversaturated a few years ago. Personally I hope they go more the story/thoughtful-based route they took with Beatles and Fantasia rather than just barf out a thousand songs. I know Beatles didn't do that great but I think that's the only way for it to be a sustainable franchise.

Xbox 360 -> Xbox One DLC support announced, everyone who switched and bought a PS4 rushes to buy an Xbox One to get access to their hundreds of dollars of old DLC

The influx of old Rock Band vets allows MS to suddenly come back and win the console war

I'm not serious

Alright, I made a setlist that I think would be good for a new Rock Band. Feel free to add. Harmonix likes to add indie song's that are kinda obscure, so I'm just gonna focus on stuff that would be fun, and songs and bands that have never been in a RB before.

Metallica- For Whom The Bell Tolls
Pink Floyd- Time
Ram Jam- Black Betty
Supertramp- The Logical Song
DFA 1979- Romantic Rights
Led Zeppelin- Whole Lotta Love
Manfred Mann- Blinded by the Light
Smashing Pumpkins- Bullet with Butterfly Wings
The Eagles- One of the Nights
Nirvana- Aneurysm
Michael Jackson- Billy Jean
Guns N Roses- Welcome to the Jungle
Cheap Trick- Surrender
NIN- Ruiner
Aldo Nova- Fantasy
The Guess Who- These Eyes
The Hives- Hate to say I told you so
Dire Straits- Sultans of Swing
Ted Nugent- Stranglehold
Black Sabbath- War Pigs
David Bowie- Ashes to Ashes
King Crimson- 21st Century Schizoid Man
RHCP- Around the World
Slipknot- Vermilion
ELO- Evil Woman
Emerson- Lucky Man
The Doors- The End

Song's I can think on the top of my head.

Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Gary Numan, so much good music you listed. Harmonix has so much great music it still needs to tap into.

I had to get rid of all that plastic junk. Compatibility is not an issue for me, but I get why it is. If I had sat on that stuff all that time I'd want a payoff.

I know im kinda (ok, maybe VERY) late to the party on this, but now that my son is older, im trying to find a rockband 3 set for our family to play for the 360. The only problem is those darn drums. I had a pair back from RB1 and i know they broke easily, so im not really wanting to buy a used pair out of fear they may not work. One option ive been looking at is buying electric drums and hooking them up through the MIDI adapter. Does anyone here have any experience or advice on trying this route?

I'm on 360 and I noticed that some of my DLC does not appear in RB3. Specifically, Maps by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Inside the Fire by Disturbed. Those were not omitted by licensing to my knowledge. Also they definitely on my hard drive because I can see those songs in Rock Band Blitz. Has anyone else experience this before? Anyone know of a fix?

I figure I'll resurrect this for some advice on buying a new song. I only have enough in my wallet for one RBN Classical Keys song and I want to know which one you guys think is the most fun. I'm not a very good Keys player, so I just want something fun, not too challenging yet not too easy.
