True, but does this game play nice with parties? I remember BF4 being a hassle to squad up.OS Party Chat is better anyway.
Arguing with 2 year olds.
You have to wonder how bad things are when you're in an active argument with a two year old who can barely string together a coherent sentence, let alone an argument.
hey so
there are system-level parties for chat
i dont understand the moaning in this tread
Just another reason to jump on the EA / Battlefront hate train.
Most of these people probably never talk in games or had no intention of buying the game.
Choo Choo.
Be honest. You know why people are moaning. Teams often include people that aren't in your party. Now there's no way to talk to them. It may not bother you but don't say you don't get it.
Nintendo gets endless shit for doing the same thing, and rightfully so.
This is why there is a mute option.Better than when you join a game and hearing a 9-year old children crying and saying things like these: BOOM HEADSHOT, I AM THE MASTER OF QUICKSCOPES, F*** YOUR MODDA ..
OS Party Chat is better anyway.
Uh, I posted the thread and I've got it preordered and posted earlier saying I loved the beta.
I also like me some voicechat with randoms. All my Xbox Live friends (120+) have been found through random voice chat in games.

Well you're clearly the outliner if it's not a feature in the game.
It was fine for me in the betaTrue, but does this game play nice with parties? I remember BF4 being a hassle to squad up.
This is just emulating the experience properly. If the storm troopers and rebels could communicate, they wouldn't be so incompetent in the movies.
Why would you even need voice chat? Just use the force. Are you stupid?
I didn't even notice....
Because I was in a party and not in the mood to hear 16 people call me a ni**** or fa**** for stealing their kill or not being where they think I should be.
Do the Battlefield games or similar high player count games have in-game chat? I'm guessing so, but it seems like it'd be extremely chaotic having up to 20 people in the same chat channel.

So, in tight and fast 6-versus-6 matches, your objective is to capture and hold all the three Droids before the 10-minute time limit is up. Youll get help from weapon pickups but Heroes, Villains, and vehicles wont be joining the run. Communication is vital, so let your teammates know if you've spotted a Droid somewhere, how to find it, and if there are enemy forces nearby.
You should visit some Nintendo threads. Some fanboys will defend anything.LMAO. Let's wait for the 1st person to try defend this. It's GAF, we all know it will happen.
On the one hand I think this is always a bad move for team focused MP games but on the other I've only ever heard a handful of people talking publicly on PSN so it would probably be a waste of resources to put it in. Curious to see what people on other platforms think.
As far as I know it's the only console FPS multiplayer game to not feature voice chat.
I get it on PC where Mumble, TeamSpeak, Ventrillo, and things like SteamChat dominate, but this strikes me as odder on console.
