They definitely need an instrumental soundtrack!
I really liked this one this too: https://soundcloud.com/aivisura/steven-universe-im-still-here
Track 29.What if part of why Yellow shatter Pink (if she did) was because she was jealous of how much Blue loved Pink. Yellow is very supportative and embraceful to Blue while White's relationship to her sisters or any of the other characters is still unknown.
Also I cant find "It's Over Isn't it" in the albulm. Regardless this is really good deal.
Edit: I can't spell...
Soundtrack Vol. 1 is out now!
iTunes
Google Play
Spotify
going through it right now, every song is clean and crisp af, it's wonderful
if Lars goes into Lion, walks over to his own patch and tries to climb out does RebeccaSugar.exe has stopped working
That's not how I read the situation at all, I think Yellow had nothing to do with Pink's death. She seemed surprised at Steven's confession because it was suprising, from Yellow's perspective Rose had been on earth for thousands of years hiding from the diamonds after escaping the corruption beam/song and now she's right there in her human disguise confessing?I gotta wonder what Yellow's part in it was. She clearly knows something that Blue doesn't. She seemed surprised that Steven confessed to the shattering and was in such a hurry to wrap up the trial against Blue's wishes, like she was in a hurry to silence Steven.

Rushing through the trial makes sense because it was a sham anyway, it was never about finding the truth, both Yellow and Blue are absolutely convinced that Rose killed Pink, the difference is that Yellow wants to get it over with and move on (which fits her attitude in "That will be all") while Blue wants to know every detail, she wants to know why and how Rose did it not if, that's a wuestion she never asks.
That seems too obvious
That seems too obvious
While I agree that it sounds obvious, the idea that Yellow killed Pink Diamond seems even more obvious. I hope the plot goes on a different direction than just saying "oh Yellow did it and thats why she wanted the trial done quickly"
I liked whay Dwayne McDuffie did for Alien Force and Ultimate Alien even if it got a little crazy
Too bad the show went to absolute shit after he passed away.
As a quick note about these last episodes, I'm concerned that we saw nothing of White Diamond, not even an acknowledgment of her existence. If she really ends up being the big bad of the show, the crew should start making her presence known so they can build her up.
We saw what was presumably her ship in the background on Homeworld, but yeah. If she is the Diamond above Diamonds that various bits of background details and design have implied, I'd say we need to see more of her soonish. As a quick note about these last episodes, I'm concerned that we saw nothing of White Diamond, not even an acknowledgment of her existence. Based on how involved Yellow and Blue Diamond are (they're moving around quite a bit for intergalactic rulers), I'm imaging that White is the ultimate Diamond who just stays on her throne while her sisters do all the actual running of the empire. Then again, she may also handle a lot more than the two of them, which is why YD and BD can do stuff like run off to the Zoo or preside over the trial of a single gem.We saw what was presumably her ship in the background on Homeworld, but yeah. Gang, I've figured it out.
Looking over all the evidence, it's clear to me now who was responsible for Pink's shattering.
It wasn't Yellow Diamond.
It wasn't White Diamond.
Or even Blue Diamond.
All the clues point to one person, and one person alone! It was...
I reckon there is a fusion involved, but I think White Diamond is part of it rather than being the end result. If you look at the modern Diamond insignia, there's a black area where the three colours overlap- if there's going to be a final Big Boss, I'd guess that it's Black Diamond.
Just bought it from Amazon. Thanks for the reminder. I didn't even see it listed until I looked for it today.
Do you have a link for amazon? I can't find it for the life of me!
Sure.
Today was actually the first time I've seen it listed. I was checking sporadically since it was announced and this is the first time it showed up.
At this point in the series this theory makes the most sense to me, for the bolded reasons.I posted a theory following the Wanted leaks (because of the title card) but before the actual airing on Reddit. Long story short, provided the Gempire has an actual resource shortage, White Diamond's ship we see in the background may be powering Homeworld, as it would likely be the single most advanced piece of technology around during the war. That, or White Diamond herself is stuck powering Homeworld.
I see it less as Blue and Yellow Diamond nefariously leeching WD's life force from her gem and more White Diamond being relegated to some kind of space office while she pours energy attacks into a giant conduit or something. This would narratively make it easy to justify her absence (what would be significant enough to warrant putting their entire homeworld on emergency power?), and it's also a clear way to illustrate WD as the de facto Gem authority if she's strong enough to power a planet for thousands of years on end.
Thirdly, and most significantly, this also gives Homeworld an easy out on contextualizing their tyranny - they're not infinitely expanding because reasons, it's because Blue and Yellow have been trying to liberate White Diamond. It would even make Earth a more significant misstep in their eyes - they might have been looking at the answer to their prayers by developing a new power source or even a new Homeworld entirely, but after Rose Quartz fucked everything up they just had to cut their losses and plant the Cluster. Yellow seemed tired talking to Peridot during Message Received, so I can't imagine she's having very much fun in her current predicament, either.
What if Steven goes into Lars' hair while Lars was in Lion's mane?guys.
what if...
Lars go inside Lion's Mane
FfffffffuckkkWhat if Steven goes into Lars' hair while Lars was in Lion's mane?
Wait a second
Isn't Lars (sometimes) short for Lazarus?
Son of a bitch had this planned the whole time
Peace and Love on the Planet Earth is a fantastic goddamn song. These are really great
There are alot of fantastic songs. I just wish some were a little bit longer.
I understand the issue with keeping songs short. When they're normal-length, they can be a third of the episode. "Here Comes A Though" and "What's the Use of Feeling (Blue)?"mare basically the entire second acts of their respective episode.
That being said, I think "Tower of Mistakes" would be mentioned more as a Top 5 song if it were longer. It's so, so good, but I get disappointed when it ends; it always feels like it finishes too soon.
I'm of the mind that this is actually white diamond and that she's such a level of being above even blue and yellow diamond. If she were of the same cut (ha) as YD and BD, you'd think she'd want to talk to the gem that shattered her fellow diamond, even if she was behind it, just to keep up appearances.
What if Steven goes into Lars' hair while Lars was in Lion's mane?
He will pop out in the Lars portal area. This is basic stuff.
Also if Lars pushes his feet out his exit it'll just come out his head. Effectively flips him upside down.
If Lars goes headfirst through his exit it'd be like pushing against your own strength in opposite direction, nothing happens, it's a wall to him.
