Would you take the Switch game for $40?
Technically it's already on the other platforms. And for a lot less money.

I'm sure SFV is doing decent with dlc and honestly I'm sure they've made money on the game seeing how cheap it is outside of some things like animations.
They've spent millions in marketing propping it up as the pinnacle of fighting e-Sports along with using dlc profits to help fund pots. I don't think this helped them make much money at all no matter how cheap you think the budget was.

I hope the MS money was enough for Capcom. There is an audience on PlayStation waiting for the Dead Rising series to come over again.
I actually think MvCi will do better than SFV due to having that extra platform (XB1) to sell on.

I hope the Sony money was enough for Capcom. There is an audience on XBox waiting for the Street Fighter series to come over again.

Actually not bad for SFV, 300K in this quarter.
How many millions though I wonder. 2 million? 99 million? They've spent millions in marketing propping it up as the pinnacle of fighting e-Sports along with using dlc profits to help fund pots. I don't think this helped them make much money at all no matter how cheap you think the budget was.
This is a funny post in hindsight.
They have the resources, they just don't want to take the risk.

Dead rising is the blueprint on how to fuck up an ip, see the last tomb raider too.
To be fair at least with SFV, I don't think releasing on XB1 would have any sort of significant impact on those numbers.
how was KI selling at this point in its lifespan?

The Xbox relation can't be a coincidence.
Actually 100k. Did 200k another quarter.
Paid full versions? Only buying one character so counting that as a copy? Downloading the free client? Not sure, but KI Im fairly confident has sold more than 1.7 million copies.
The humor isn't what killed Dead Rising 4. In fact it had the right tone with it's setting.Sorry but dead rising and saints row are like the "scary movie" franchise. Potty humor and stupidity is only fun for a short time and gets boring fast unless it's clever and witty. Neither of these games are clever or witty. Agents of mayhem will be the same and tank miserably. Stick to real stories and atmosphere Capcom. That's where you shine
Edit: I know Capcom doesn't make saints row. I was using a second example of stupid humor
As for Sfv, I never followed it long enough to really know what they did wrong
Not DR4... it was terrible. I got it for Christmas last year, and apparently I was bad in 2016I hope the MS money was enough for Capcom. There is an audience on PlayStation waiting for the Dead Rising series to come over again.
Come on guys it's time to get Dino Crisis out.

MS needs to make its own exclusives, rather than poach third-party ones. I just can't believe Scalebound got the axe and Crackdown 3 is still coming... That's the real tragedy here.
Yes it would.
Wooh, blatantly port begging in first post? New height for Neogaf.
Oh... Then that's not good lol
Both numbers are beyond terrible. For Capcom the silver lining is that they didn't fund either game so they didn't take any losses.
SFVs shipped/sales sounds kinda brutal for such a legendary series.
The Xbox relation can't be a coincidence.
300K SFV copies sold since this time last year?
