I'm not so sure about "good", but I use this to add FLACs to my iTunes library. It extracts the metadata and converts the files to alac's.
Not really luxurious or anything, but maybe good enough for whatever you want to achieve. Easy to mod too.
Oh you decided quickly! Great phone, I had the M7 myself.
I've been using a Firefox addon called Popvideo which takes flash videos like those on Youtube and puts it into a resizable window with no border title bar. Waterfox recently updated to 31.0 and now that addon makes the popped out video to have a title bar. It's a minor annoyance but enough so that I've rolled back to 28.0 to keep the window small. Does someone know of an alternative to Popvideo which would work for 31.0 or even Chrome?

I suggest you read the New International Version, or the King James Version if you prefer the older language.
An extension on the above poster's suggestions, if you are planning to read the Bible, for whichever reason, try to remember a lot of the words used have a completely different meaning to today.
i.e. God made the world in seven days. There is a trend now that the word day was actually meant to have the meaning age, as in a very long period. There are also inconsistencies apparently that refute this back and forth in there. I thought I'd give the heads up.

You know how on the Mac, you can swipe 4 fingers down and look only at Safari Windows, or only at Chrome Windows, or only at PDFs, etc for any application.
Can you do that on a PC? If so, how?

You can click and hold the window and "shake" the mouse back and forth a bit to minimize all windows except the one that you are shaking. Perhaps there is some other way as well.

Refreshing/resetting a Windows 8.1 PC. Help!
I have an unpleasant virus on my PC after trying to download a media player.
I have done some research into this virus and the steps required to remove it are rather complicated and long winded.
I have attempted to do a system restore to several earlier restore points, but none of them have worked.
So now I want to refresh/reset the PC to how it was when I bought it a few months ago. I dont mind loosing my files and installed programs. Questions then:
Will this work?
What is the best way to reset a Windows 8.1 PC?
Are there any risks involved in the process?
I have my windows disk that came with the PC but I also have disks for my graphics card and mother board, will I need to use all these disks when resetting the PC?
Thanks for any advice anyone can give.

If you're gonna do a fresh reinstall of Windows 8, it's pretty simpl if you have the CD and key. Just boot from the CD, format the C drive and it'll install. You'll lose everything so backup what you want.
Windows will then update itself but in order to get back to Windows 8.1, you download that via the store. I'm not sure if you'll need the disks for your graphic card and motherboard, but you might be better off downloading the latest patches from their model websites.

Thanks for replying. Are you saying not to use any options within windows to tell it to refresh? I am not the most computer literate, imagine you are explaining this to your grandmother.
I have just found the tech support thread which I somehow missed when searching, so will post there too.
You don't need to format manually. When you boot from the Windows CD there should be an option for something vague like "Refresh your Windows installation" and it'll detail that you'll lose all your settings and personal files. That's the one you want.
As for your other CD's and stuff, you should be able to download any drivers or anything you need from manufacturer websites.
Tangentially, there's a great website https://ninite.com/ that lets you download a lot of popular programs you might need for a fresh installation all in one place. Super convenient in my experience.

Anyone have the link to the Chrome extension that auto refreshes NeoGAF pages?
There's a car parked in front of my house with its backend hanging over my driveway about two or three feet. The car is making it difficult to back out of my driveway and avoid hitting the other cars that are always park across the street. I've been ignoring it but its been parked there since last Friday hasn't moved at all. It's also got out of state plates so I don't know who it belongs to.
Would it be passive aggressive to leave a polite note asking the owner to move the car up a few feet or should I knock on every neighbors door to find the owner?

I'd probably try the immediate surrounding neighbors, and if no one knows who it is, then maybe leave the note. Though of course if the car hasn't budged, kinda implies they're not visiting it much, so they may not see it. To answer your specific question, there's nothing passive aggressive about leaving a polite note per se.
I grew up in Oklahoma, and we all took an Oklahoma History course around high school or middle school. May be offered in both middle schools and high schools, I'm not sure. I remember it as being only one semester for me instead of a full year, but I don't remember what the other half-semester course was.
What about you, U.S. GAF? Did you take a whole course on the history of your state? I've always wondered if this was standard fare.

While I'm here, can anyone recommend me a good movie-related podcast? Any will do.
There's a GAF community that is named after a podcast called How did this get made?
It must be of somewhat a high quality since there's a dedicated thread about it.
Alternatively, looking at the iTunes list of popular film podcasts could give you some ideas. However, it combines TV and film as one category and apparently it uses an algorithm to not only decide popularity on downloads, but on user reviews as well.

EDIT: Also, Giantbomb do a movie podcast every few months, but it's for premium members only.
How Did This Get Made? Is specifically about really bad movies. Movies like The Room or Sharknado. It's really funny, but if you're looking for good recommendations then that wouldn't be the podcast to listen to.

Ok, I'm flying to the USA soon. And I know that there are now pain-in-the-ass safety rules that require laptops and phones to be charged before boarding the plain going there. My question is about what happens if you have to transfer between flights at an American airport. Do the phones and laptops need to be charged before boarding the second plane as well? That would be a pain in the ass if you were crossing the Atlantic before switching, as you wouldn't be able to work on the plane, in order to conserve battery. Thanks!

Hopefully someone that's actually experienced this will chime in (I haven't) but I assume they'd check for charge at the TSA checkpoint, not at the gate. Connecting flights keep you behind the checkpoint, so I'd think you'd only get checked once. Full disclosure: I've only flown domestically, and not since this charging rule got put into place.
Can someone help me out figure why I lag in online games (Ps3/ps4).
This has only started about a week ago, so I dont know why it is lagging now as I have not done anything to my modem or whatever.

Okay, so I live in a studio apartment on the third floor of a three story building that has the evening sun beating directly into it.
My issue is that it's hot. Like, super hot. Right now, it's ~80 degrees outside and it's 87 in my apartment. I have a fan full blast on me at all times. It's not helping. I'm sweating like crazy. Now, why don't I turn on the AC? Because it sucks. But Einbroch, it's 80 outside, so open a few windows and get some airflow going. Can't. I have one sliding glass door and no other windows. I leave it open, but even when it's 65 degrees outside it's still above 80 in my apartment. Silly fool, open the door to get that airflow going! Can't. Well, don't want to. I'm in a...questionable neighborhood. So I'm stuck.
Tell me GAF, you're smart. I'm no good at this stuff. How can I get the air from outside my apartment inside, with only one sliding glass door and an entrance door that can't be left open? On the positive side, I never had to turn my heat on once all winter, and it was below zero for at least a few weeks.
Help.

When I was a kid, I signed an online petition for a game
. Anyways, some bot or something took my name and added a ton of vulgar stuff as a comment to the petition. If you google my name it pops up. Anyway to get this removed? I contacted the webmaster several times via email and it seems to be inactive.

How on earth do you have a studio apartment with only one window? Anyway, sliding glass door implies balcony, yes? Maybe you could get like a bunch of potted plants and shrubs to put outside and soak up the sunlight? I know they do that on the roofs of some buildings to keep the temp down, might be worth a shot.
