Sven Coop 5.0 trailer

They're going to release it as a standalone game on Steam free for everyone.

We hope you will enjoy this 2 minute introduction to our game, which also includes footage of some new maps and features. Also featured: Our new main menu theme by Pavel_Perepelitsa! The video itself was created by Mr. Mazur.

Since we still get a lot of questions about this: Remember, Sven Co-op 5.0 will be available for free on Steam, even if you don't own Half-Life 1. And this includes our Half-Life Singleplayer conversion.

That is all for now. Expect more media and information about 5.0 in the near future!

As a side note, the first version of Sven Co-op was released on January 19th, 1999… That means SC’s 17th birthday is in just 7 days! Wow! Who knew Sven Co-op was so old, huh? I don’t know about all of you guys, but here on the Sven Co-op team we will be celebrating that day!

The PS2's coop was only available as part of a shorter, separate campaign called Half Life: Decay.

Svencoop 3 was the only co-op that I really enjoyed playing with random players. Especially loved how inventive and varied the mods were.. they had more creativity than paid co-op modes.

Also a reminder that Synergy on Steam exists for all your HL2 coop needs. Physics can be a bit amusing in coop

Sven Coop, The Specialists, and ESF (Earth's Special Forces) were three of my favorite mods of all time!

I'm crazy happy to see that other people not only know about these wonderful gems, but enjoyed them as well. I would love to load up SvenCoop again after all these years and play it.

I just wish Sven Coop 2 came to be. The Sven Coop on the Source engine would be fantastic (Especially Source 2).

Yes! I always used to play that map it was great. Really enjoyed the RE Cold Blood Half Life mod as well which was like that but its own thing.

Well the mod has been around over 16 years now so yes, Cooperative hl1. There's coop mods for hl2 too.
