Where has this MOBA rumour come from?! Sounds like total bollocks to me. No way did Sony show this as an Ico-style adventure, and then decide it would suit the market better as a MOBA.

It was never a moba. At one point it had tower defense elements, but it was always single player only.

Damn, I can't believe I was on the defense about this game. I kept saying it's coming, they won't drop the ball, it looks great.

And now look at this mess. This shit will be Duke Nukem levels of BBQs judging by the Twitter. Maybe not in length of time, but certainly doesn't carry much hope with me.

Just got official statement from SCEE on the matter, and funny enough it's pretty much Tequila's PR, word by word, including the 'chosen' part and some amicable tone:
