I'm cautious with rhythm games so I'll wait for impressions too

Just lost my save for LoE2. I think I'll be waiting till that update comes.
Looking at what's coming out tonight, I have my eye on Beat Sneak Bandit, Little Acorns and On The Hop. On The Hop reminds me of Mr. Ninja so I need to give this game a try.
If it was 99 cent's I'd give it a go, little risk in it.
I wish they did a lite version.

5 Stars.
They tend to get excessively hyperbolic so take it with a grain of salt.

Yup, 99 cents I don't mind. But I have different tastes for music games I think, lots of people raved about Groove Coaster but when I played it, I was kinda meh to it because the sound effects didn't seem like they meshed well with the game, hard to explain I guess but something was off and it diminished my enjoyment.
I wish they made a Beyblades game. I heard they're back
Don't buy Beat Sneak if you don't like trial and error.
Loved my first 20 min with it. Presentation is absolutely top notch in general. It's really really slick, with a ton of attention to detail. Sound is also great (with decent headphones). Looks like a pretty fun rhythm/puzzle game.
Re: price discussion- $3 really isn't much to spend on a game you'll get at worst a couple hours of enjoyment out of

So when you say trial and error, you mean to say the puzzles can't be solved with pure logic? Because that would be a design issue I don't think I could overlook.
Everything!Which of Kairosoft's games are worth picking up beyond Game Dev Story?

Also, regarding the question of whether it's on rhythm. Yes it is, and it's at about RT/Rhythm Heaven levels of accuracy.

Yeah, BSB is hot. I recommend it but there is trial and error for 100% completeness and you do need some rhythm.
New Whale Trail challenge pack!
How many chapters are there currently?
Beat Sneak Bandit sports 40 main levels and 16 shadow levels
Anyway, after a few hours, I'd recommend it to all but the most rhythmless people. I can definitely see myself going back to get some missed clocks, and working on the bonus levels. I find that when I get particularly familiar with a level, I tend to stick with it to get as many clocks as possible.

This is what I meant to say earlier. I forgot that the phrase "trial and error" usually carries a negative connotation around here, lol.
Nice! Glad to see they're supporting it despite their allegedly lackluster sales.

Going to try Beat Sneak Bandit now.
Hey y'all. I'm a pretty big iOS gamer, and have spent way too much on way too many iOS games.
The one I always come back to is Sword of Fargoal. It's a rogue-like, and is a remake of an older game of same name.
You start off in level one of a dungeon, goal is to explore and survive, making your way down to lower depths of the dungeon to ultimately find the Sword and make it back out alive.
The whole time you're exploring and finding gold, new weapons, shields, potions, spells, wands, etc., and fighting different creatures who get progressively harder the lower you get in the dungeon.
The thing with these (rogue-like) games is, you're probably not going to win. I mean, you're almost certainly going to die. But it's so much fun on your way to that death! It's definitely one of those "it's the journey, not the destination" kind of feelings. Every time you play you're going to find different combinations of items, and encounter the monsters in different places and ways. One attempt may yield you a badass shield and a bunch of healing potions. You are now a tank. Another playthrough and you've got shitty weapons, but some great attack wands and some invisibility potions. You are now a sneaky little bitch. =)
The graphics are pretty plain, nothing to write home about, but they're good enough to really nail the experience.
I could go on, but basically, from an avid iOS gamer - this game is awesome, and you should try it.
(there are two versions right now, Sword of Fargoal and Sword of Fargoal Legends, I think. I *think* legends is the one to get, as it's universal(?))
Seriously, lads, Pizza vs Skeletons is so good. I almost feel like I'm coming off like I'm shilling for the game at this point but I don't even care because it's so good.
Just got notification that Neuroshima Hex is down from 4.99 to 2.99. Worth it for a boardgame/strategie-lover?

Seems like a nice chunk of content.
I'm so glad I didn't pass up on this. It's such a unique and charming concept! My only gripe is that some of the traps take a little long to activate.
