Oh, i wouldn't know.
I watched the film, hated it, and never bother to further investigate the thing.
Actually, in the real I Am Legend they are.vampires

Only hipsters read books dude.
You know what I am sick of?
Set pieces.

I like the fact you can break the line of sight and go back into stealth mode.
Stealth seems much better than UC.
There's even a crouch button!
Yeah and a sprint button as well, so you already have a nice set of combat options. There's even a crouch button!
I think the UC games have decent Ai,so I think they are expanding on that in a big way. That combat interview sounded awesome. I hope they're able to really nail the AI after how much they've been talking it up, because it sounds great.
The game will have set pieces but not like the crazy ones in Uncharted.
My bad I thought he said set pieces at the end of the video. They didn't say set pieces, they said cinematic moments. I'm guessing they will be more like something you'd find in Half Life
Yeah it does I am getting more and more excitedThe new interview is very impressive, it sounds pretty amazing.

Yes I know my original post said the set pieces wouldn't be anything like Uncharted. He did say set pieces, but not one where you have to escape from a falling airplane for example.

Why does this kind of imagery always give me a spiritual hard-on? What is wrong with me?[/QUOTE]
Well, it IS porn afte all, isn'tvsome people before said this kind of imagery is called ruin-porn. ;-)
I like when he talks about AI reactions to someone pulling out a gun and shooting someone. Makes you think that AI is one of the biggest parts of games that could be improved.
http://www.gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2012/02/15/why-audio-matters-in-the-last-of-us.aspxThroughout our month of coverage for The Last of Us, the team at Naughty Dog has stressed the importance of subtlety and intensity both in the story and gameplay. Phil Kovatz is the man responsible for setting that tone with the audio of the game. As the audio lead for The Last of Us, Phil plans on using audio not only to submerge players in the world but also to have a significant impact on how they engage the enemies of the game. Watch the video below to learn how Phil Kovatz's work on everything from God of War 3 to Flow has prepared him to take advantage of the new sound propagation tech to make sure that the audio for The Last of Us leaves a lasting impression.
I have to say, Sony studios really do a great job when it comes to picking out a sound for their game. The music always seems to fit the game. I thought the original inFamous was especially good at that, mainly because it was so different from what we usually hear yet it was entirely natural at the same time.
Yeah really impressive stuff,I am loving everything they are doing with this game.Looking over all of the screens again made me realize something else that they're doing really well with this game. The faces. The expressions are just great. You can really get a sense of what a character is feeling at any given time. The eyes/entire brow region including the upper nose are especially expressive.
Here are the new screens from the video:
Poor Sev. That is his fate in an alt world.
At 1st glance one would think this shot is out of Uncharted. Looks like an older version of Nathan Drake.
So what do you guys think about the audio tech they will be using for the game?
I mean the way they describe it in the video interview. That's the type of thing you're going to have to see/hear to get a really good feel for it.
so its like uncharted
Nothing like it besides having a male with a female companion.this game reminds me of enslaved.

Haha, I actually dislike this picture. I'm sure it will look amazing ingame, but whoever took the picture did a really bad job at composition. Make it look really dull... don't put everything around the center line of a picture! But I'm sure in action it'll be splendid.

post apocalysed, colorful settings, and there might be a chance the guy is with that girl is because she got something he wants.
