So I was starting to wonder about the greats of film that I had missed somehow while growing up. I decided to start pooling the "What movies must a person watch" list with a few friends. So far it has been successful, but I am wondering what does GAF think?

What movies should a person see before they die?

Here are mine right now.

Citizen Kane
Casablanca
E.T.
Star Wars 4-6
Terminator
Good Will Hunting
Vanishing Point
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Goonies
The Princess Bride
Rambo: First Blood
Taxi Driver
The Shining
Coming to America
Enter The Dragon
Dumb and Dumber
Labyrinth
Neverending Story
Princess Mononoke
Yojimbo
Saving Private Ryan
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Alien
Apocalypse Now
The Godfather
Pulp Fiction
Gone with the Wind
Psycho
Dazed and Confused
Beauty and the Beast
The Land Before Time
Matrix
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Predator

GAF!!! What am I missing?

What do you think are musts you must see before death?

Suggested by GAFers.

I’d add the original Thomas Crown Affair and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind in there. Really love Good Will Hunting but it isn’t really a must see for me.

Rear Window, The Godfather, All The Presidents Men, Blazing Saddles... so many great old movies that you could name.

Given that you put these particular films on your list, I may have to check out the others. Although I'd perhaps put Mulholland Drive above Blue Velvet, and Still Walking above Nobody Knows.
I wouldn't rank Blue Velvet over Mulholland Drive. To me they'd both be 10s if I had to rate them, but Mulholland was already mentioned. I haven't seen Still Walking yet.

The Invisible Man - 1933 version, starring Claude Rains. An absolutely fantastic film. With incredible special effects for the time.

Gonna just have to go ahead and add The Godfather 2 to that list.

Also, Fantasia.

The Tribe Has Spoken
Seemingly never a popular choice, but I think Before Night Falls is magical and everyone should see it.
