Not really sure why, I grew up on gen 1 and 2 first and have a lot of favorites from those gens, but when gen 3 came around I absolutely fell in love with Blaziken. I think it might've had something to do with that anime episode where Ash gets his ass beat by a Blaziken trainer prior to gen 3 even starting. Shit was coolest thing ever. Even now I think Blaziken is pretty badass.

I guess my favourite is Pikachu. I don't really know most of the Pokemon, though I'm discovering more all the time through Pokemon Shuffle.
I'm a simple man. I love Charmander, Charmeleon and Charizard pretty much equally. But if I have to choose, even though he got the least screen time of the three, I kinda liked Charmeleon the most. He started the "puberty" stuff being all arrogant and disobeying Ash, basically the direct opposite of Charmander. But again, I really don't want to choose.

More of you need to appreciate Phantump and Trevenant. Can't believe I'm the only one here that adores them.
You forgot to include the obligatory Stunfisk vote with every post.
Stunfisk facts:
- Stunfisk was the first Pokémon ever designed but was held back because Nintnedo deemed the 20th Century population not ready for such majesty.
- After Pikachu, Stunfisk has the most Google results out of any Pokémon.
- Stunfisk has a unique battle theme. Most people don't realise because the additional notes are played beyond the range of human hearing.
- Satoshi Tajiri has every bit of Stunfisk memorabilia imaginable on his desk. He even walks around the GameFreak offices with Stunfisk slippers.
- Plans for a Mega Stunfisk were scrapped after GameFreak realised it was too OP.

Mewtwo is my favorite!!
There are a lot of nice pokémons, but the 1st gen is mt favourite BY FAR! Most of the 1st gen pokémons are very creative and well designed, some are cute, others badass, but most of them are charismatic right away.
Like I said, Mewtwo is my favorite, however there are a many other iconic chatacters such as koffing, meowth, psyduck, bulbasaur, charmander, squartle, pikachu, ninetails, onix, magikarp, snorlax, and so on...
So many good memories! T-T
