Last January, Nick Kroll/Tom Scharpling associate Jon Daly gave us the brilliant Red Hot Chili Peppers parody “Abracadabralifornia” days before the Peppers played the Super Bowl halftime show (or at least pretended to play). Now a different comedian, Tim Heidecker of Tim & Eric, has taken the piss out of this year’s Super Bowl performer. Heidecker’s “Katy Perry Leaked Superbowl Song 2015″ is funny for different reasons; whereas “Abracadabralifornia” was a note-perfect imitation that could almost pass for the real thing, this sounds nothing like a Katy Perry song. It’s just so absurd and goofy that it doesn’t matter.

“I’m Katy Perry/ And I’m hairy and scary,” faux-Perry begins, before explaining the rules of football: “Don’t have to dribble, you pass the ball/ You run the ball, you go to the end zone/ To score the points!” Lenny Kravitz (or a very talented Kravitz impersonator) shows up to rep for T-Mobile and philosophize, too.

I lost it at "Hi I am Lenny Kravits, brought to you by T-Mobile."

Can we all agree this is better than any real Katy Perry song?
