Yes.aaaaaa said:Just something I realized from the Super SFIV thread:
In Capcom's Street Fighter series, Super Street Fighter II Turbo was followed by Street Fighter Alpha.
In Japan, these games were called Super Street Fighter II X and Street Fighter Zero.
In Capcom's Mega Man series, the Mega Man X series was followed by Mega Man Zero.
Coincidence?

This is also revealed whenever she gets electrocuted.

Holy shit, I never knew. Simpsons fact that blows my mind. The Shadow said:From Wikipidia:
According to Matt Groening, the original idea behind Marge's hair was that it would conceal large rabbit ears. The gag was intended to be revealed in the final episode of the series, but was scrapped early on due to inconsistencies, and also to the fact that rabbit ears would be too fictitious even for The Simpsons.
Nice find, the similarities are clear, the movie must be an inspiration to the game.iamaustrian said:dunno if old but I found some similarities between the average Sci-Fi movie "Lost in Space"(the remake from 1998 that is) and the game "Dead Space"

How did you not notice? It was prominently placed as a major part of the movie. Remember Rex playing a game with his feet?SpacePirate Ridley said:Wait a minute, thers a Super Nes in Toy Story 2?
Mind Fuckin Blown!
I remember discovering that! I too was trying to fly up there and spent too much time trying and eventually they broke free. I was shocked out of my mind. So awesome.Sixfortyfive said:

I remember discovering this too. IMHO it made them easier to pass if I waited for them to come at me, especially that last one in the final castle right before Bowser.jaypah said:yup. also on Super Mario Bros. 1 on the level 5-2 you can wait around on the blocks for a while and the Hammer Bro. in the pic below will just get bored and walk under you and off of the left side of the screen. it takes about 40 seconds or so. we found this out back when it had just came out for the NES because my cousin was too chicken shit to make a move and eventually the Hammer Brother just walked off. blew our young fragile minds.
I was playing Mario Bros on virtual console yesterday and got to that Hammer Bro on 5-2. I decided to wait for him to go away like the post said so I could keep my power up without losing it but after a certain amount of time he didn't walk off the screen, he charged towards me throwing hammers faster then he did before. Even when I jumped over him, he changed direction and followed me.Jasoco said:I remember discovering this too. Well excuse me princess, you put endboss for Lost in Space, so I panicked and scrolled right through :lolrandomlyrossy said:There is no spoiler dude, it's just a regular monster from Dead Space not even any type of boss, you play either of the Dead Space games for longer than 5 minutes and you'll see one.

I know you're "Mr Negativity" and everything, but I *sincerely* hope you were kidding with that post.jett said:What an abomination All-Stars is. I never got that far into it to see how they ruined the World 8 stages. I always prefered the NES SMB3, but this really seals it as fact. Anyone who prefers the All Stars verison is a bad person and should feel bad.Kulock said:I'm not sure the curtain calls directly relate to the shadows and rigging on platforms and the end of levels, it was all just a bit of flourish IMO. Particularly the end of level blackness, since in the NES version, the plants and platforms in that area were just white outlines. Then in world 8, you got to a level where everything was like that. So the end of level is like Mario journeying into the encroaching darkness from Bowser's kingdom. (It was strange, poor decision on their part to normalize the levels for All-Stars and beyond.)
