This THQ stuff is depressing
Wonder if it will end up with vita getting some games...
I doubt it
Probably not, not many of the parties involved with aquiring THQ's assets are big in the portable industry or noteworthy.
Sega - Monkeyball is their only Vita Unique game I can think of. The Jet Set Radio Port was also cool. But really, Sega has the franchises to put something cool on the portable, that would make money. But they just want to focus on things that idiots know can make money and/or not cost very much to do.
Deep Silver - Never Published a Vita game, but they are mostly a publisher who now owns more than just Dead Island to their name. A portable Saints Row would probably be cool, I think a Vita GTA game would be more likely. Neither likely at this point.
Crytek - They are making Homefront 2, so they bought the rights to the franchise.
Take 2 - Really hasn't been a portable game publisher. Outside of Dora or 2k Sports ports for the vita. We can only hope for a Bioshock or GTA for the vita, none of the THQ transactions really affects any the prospects of future vita games. Unless the vita manages to make the list for WWE ports.
Ubisoft - They've made vita games, none of the sales really seem like it will help push any new vita games out the door there.
What stood out to me in this mess is that Sega had $26.6 million to spend on relic.... who specializes in Action Games (dawn of war), and Strategy games (CoH). Yet, they won't publish VC3 outside of Japan, and have probably shelved the franchise for all we know ;-;
Chronovolt is not that bad. The time mechanics are wasted potential, but I'm not finding it offensively bad like people say. The first world is the best one though, sadly it gets worse as you progress.
The first world the game was fun, and then i kept finding new ways to fall to my death cheaply. Glad to finally get it off of my vita today.
