Hey Guys does there happen to be any room in the GAF clan?
You should have an invite waiting for you. Welcome, and don't forget to craft your clan key at the foundry.

Anybody got a suggestion for a primary weapon I can build or farm that isn't too hard to get? I've got my Dread with a catalyst in it and it's pretty tricked out considering the mods I have, but I would like something automatic for run and gun missions and drawing and releasing a bow for hours on end makes my finger sore. I heard the base Boltor is good and I like the way the gun feels but without a catalyst and forma I can't mod it worth a shit. Is that a worthy gun to sink resources into or is there something better I should shoot for? I don't want to invest and have it replaced by something better or a Prime within a few weeks.
Boltor Prime is unvaulted along with Rhino. I'm not sure how much longer that's going to last though. Still, the Boltor series is decent, just outclassed at this point.

Here's a list of automatic weapons I use. Supra Vandal, which is inaccessible at this point. Quanta Vandal, which is inaccessible until Baro decides to sell it for Ducats, though regular Quanta is fine, but outclassed. Braton Prime, which is outclassed by other automatic weapons but still fun to use. Zhuge, high status crossbow that is also outclassed but still decent, wouldn't use in a sortie 3. Soma Prime, which is vaulted, but is arguably top tier primary automatic. Tenora, Soma Prime's rival, but locked to MR10.

Everything else is either MR fodder or just stuff I didn't like very much. Or I forgot about it. You'll find that there is a lot of MR fodder to go through, sadly, and there has been a lack of great automatic fire primaries in my opinion. The primary slot has been the shotgun/bow slot for me for a long time.

I really hope the Jordas Golem assassination is easier than the quest version, because sheesh. Getting through that was legitimate hell.

The things I do for an Atlas.
It's exactly the same as the quest version from what I remember.

Defection is such BS gamemode if you can't get full team for it. With 4 people you can cover all approaches well enough, but alone? Fuuu....
Really? I think it's easiest solo, since squads don't show up in split places. I ended up doing the recent sortie defection with Oberon. Just throw your heal on the squad, then your only threat is running out of energy, or maybe a toxic ancient one-shotting them at higher levels. You don't need to escort them once you have your heal on. I didn't even need to pick up charges for the healing stations, as the energy barely got used. It's still a boring mission though.

Just started playing this while I wait for some new Division content to rollout - I see there is a clan, can I join up? i'm on PS4.

Grabbed the Twitch prime free bundle which netted me the Frost Prime and I've done the first few missions solo, really enjoying it so far and 60fps is nice!

Defection is bad because it's sloooooow and demands backtracking. Cant GOTTA GO FAST'T. Is almost like a prisoner rescue mission where the prisoners don't teleport to you. Ew.

Also Nezha completely breaks a whole lotta infection hitboxes wot with her bubble shield. Also #bestmovement since so slippery. Captain Shield tho...eh.

Get yourself a good Nova who can put down long Wormholes. Speeds up the thing real nice.

Also Nezha's a dude. Just chuck out the chakram randomly, the heal bursts are more useful than you think and it's free damage/stun. Tracking is better than any glaive too.

Get a nova and just place wormholes.

That along with the slow enemies will make it the transportation move a bit faster.

So I've come back to this game after a while away. One question, I feel kinda weak in lv30+ instances even though I have lv30 frames/gear. Is this likely to be due to having weak mods (I haven't put much effort into that) or could there be some other reason?

Also could I get an invite to the GAF guild please? In-game name is StorySoFar.

Yeah that definitely sounds like a mod issue

Never thought to use a nova for defection. Would probably give it a shot, if there was a reason for me to play that mode.

I say its definitely mods.

Check out your current collection and try to add them to your equipment and rank them up if needed.

If you don't have Harrow you have to play that mode to get one of his pieces.

unless you buy him :shrug

Unless this is exclusive for solo they actually do split as you go further.

wormhole...works on npcs?

I have 14K platinum... yet I don't buy frames... It almost all goes towards boosters and relic key packs lol.

Jordas Golem Assassinations are hell, but that armour-reducing aura (corrosion somethingorother) is gamechanging. It easily tripled my damage against the thing. And getting 4-man squads made it go by pretty quickly.

So now I have an Atlas.

I kinda like this void relic system, just running through it picking up random prime frame blueprints feels like I'm working towards something.

It's gonna be annoying trying to get a specific blueprint though when I don't have the relic that drops it, looking at you Ash prime.

Hello. I just started playing this a couple of weeks ago and it's fun, if overwhelming. I still don't quite think I've got a handle on the half-dozen different types of currency in the game, at least one of which is 0 and I'm not sure what it is for ;-)

I'd be totally lost if it wasn't for friends - but at least the story isn't as mind-bogglingly confusing as Destiny :-D

Having said that, I'm a robot space ninja and yet for some reason I need life support. I've been told this is explained ... later ...

I've made it to rank 5 and have a Volt Prime baking to replace my Volt (it'll be ready tonight, yay!), Boltor Prime, Lex Prime and Carrier Prime and reckon I'm going to be happy for a while - at least until I figure out what better options there are! Yes, I had to spend some dollarydoos to fill in some of the gaps there. I'm happy sending cash to the devs though, it's a good game.

Been farming Gabii a fair bit recently, it's a good earner for me at my stage in the game (I'm still working my way around Saturn).

Mods are easily the biggest indicator of your power in this game. Your warframe being max rank is trivial and essentially meaningless outside of the fact that if gives you access to the most possible mod slots.

Once your frame is 30 your next step should be to install a reactor in it (this is pretty mandatory, as it doubles your frames max mods). These cost 20p to buy your way into or you can wait to get them from in-game events, but I haven't played long enough to know how available they are made to you. Your next step is to get an aura mod that matches the polarity on your frame (in the upper, left-hand slot). Instead of detracting from your max mod slots, auras add to it, so your frame should be somewhere around 70+ available slots for modding.

Then it's just a matter of getting the best mods for your frame and weapons, which is where the real grind/RNG takes over. Gotta work up your standing with whatever syndicates carry your frames augments and farm for lots and lots of credits and endo to level up whatever mods you're using.

You usually get either a reactor or catalyst blueprint on Fridays during the gift of the lotus alert which last for 24 hrs. If a special event is currently happening you might get one or both as a part of the rewards

Plus you'll see them appear during invasion missions as either one or both sides will give either a catalyst or reactor blueprints as a reward. If both sides offer one it will for each

Welcome! If you have any questions, this is a good place to ask. Warframe can be really hard to get into, so I'm glad you have friends to guide you.

Can you reuse forma blueprints?
You need one blueprint for every forma you want to build.

Can you reuse forma blueprints?

No you have to get another blueprint.

If you go in the foundry all your current blueprints will indicate if they are reusable or not (if you see a number instead then its not reusable)

Deep game story spoilers

Man that other version of me is creeping me out right now

So, I updated my display drivers... That seems to have reset all my Warframe settings, but, now I can play online again?? OK then! Of course this is after I hear back from DE support asking me to reproduce my issue and send them a log file & now I can't reproduce it, LOL.

Also, captura mode is FANTASTIC.

It really is the best thing they've done in a while.

I'll say!

It's a shame I can't choose to not use the built Forma when I'm upgrading something, if I'm saving the Forma up for some Foundry thing I want to build...

Damn I farmed Axi relics today and got 4 or 5 R1's with the Rhino prime BP in them. Upgraded them all and opened but got nothing good out of them. Now I see the relic alone is selling for 20p! Oops, should have just sold them.

Why does the Nezha frame require drastically more plastids than Valkyr prime? Would have thought prime frames would have the extra requirements...

I have 2 reactors and a third forming in my crafter, it will just be a matter of deciding which of my frames get them.
I am gonna have to take a look at what each of my favourite frames need mod-wise though.

My Volt Prime finally came out of the oven. I AM SO GODDAMN SHINY NOW!

I need to figure out if I can replace the gold-on-black scheme with gold-on-white though. Need to be shinier.

Worst polarities though :-(

I had 2 relics left to get the Ash Prime systems, even refined them to the max but no luck. Now I'm gonna have to hope one of the randoms I queue with have that relic equipped and then that the Ash blueprint drops.
I get the feeling it's gonna be a long time until I get Ash Prime...

Oh shit, I forgot to grab my Valkyr Prime last night. It had 20 mins left and then I quit and forgot to grab it lol.

Should have held them until he went back in the vault and waited a bit more and those prices would have increased.

Maybe its my shitty luck overall with RNGGod but i think radiant relics are worthless and you are basically on the same level of an intact. *shrug*

i have been in runs with 3-4 radiants and everyone got a common drop and also runs with intact and someone gets a rare out of it.

Been messing around with a max range Oberon. Covering entire rooms in those dumb plants is pretty goofy along with the energy color happening on the ground. I kinda like it. Seems like multiple hallowed grounds stack their damage, so I get to see a lot of numbers. Not the most effective thing ever, but pretty satisfying. Nice to have the heal and the armor stripping as an option.

Well, I tried to help. Hope you have better luck in the future.
Lootcifer is obviously taking over the desire sensor in your computer to sabotage your attempts. It's a well known issue in the Monster Hunter community.
Can confirm this is all true. I wonder how many times I've killed Stalker. Must be in the hundreds. Yet I still don't have Despair.

Why would he do this to me since i would praise him sometimes :(

I got one and built it but given the amount of fucking dreads he drops now it might have just been a miracle :/

Might have to go to the dark side and get that What Stalker pack one of these days.

For me at least, that is absolutely not happening. They want me to. But no.

I agree so i hope RNGGod would hook me up. :/

Same stuff with getting War although you get a bunch of cosmetics/accessories with that pack.

What is the best way to farm plastids? I swear everything I want needs them.

I would say run endless missions or a mission that can become endless (i.e a capture mission after retrieving the target, a sabotage without a timer to leave and apparently exterminate missions now) on a planet you have unlocked with them. Just make sure to leave once it gets hairy. You could get a resource booster if you wanna ensure you get a good amount.

If you have a nekros then you can use him to desecrate the enemies and get more drops.

Another way is to build and use extractors but the planet in question must have all nodes unlocked and it randomly selects and gives you one of the resources on the planet once its finished the extraction process.

Unlimited Capacity
Yea I have Distilled extractors going constantly on Mars I believe. The one that has plastids. It just seems like I ALWAYS need them, more than anything else. Well besides Forma since everything in the dojo takes those :-/
