I'm imagine the waiting game is now all about titles and experiences. What are you most looking forward to experiencing?
Damn Polygon is late as fuck, VR Focus has pics of all this shit 2 weeks ago and Polygon talking about they couldn't take pics. WHY?

Processing unit looks like a baby Xbox One
LOL, Polygon wrote positive things about Sony ^^
i have a feeling we will have another ps4 price situation here.
ps vr will be £200.

Does PSVR require the PS4 camera if you just use the headset and a DS4?
Will PSVR come with the camera?

No game specifically but genres. I want a good space game so that will probably be Valkyrie or Elite. A good fps and a good racing game.
I would love a game like Skyrim built specially for VR. That would probably be all the game I'll need for quite some time.
That's not the final one though. Those pictures are from PSX where it was on display to the public.
that's awesome, now Sony bring it at $199.99 and I'm all in
I just want the preorders to go up darn it.
The one I tried on at PSX was super comfortable, significantly moreso than the one at E3. It didn't even feel like I was wearing anything once I got into the game TBH.

Sony've lowballed their prediction for the total year one VR market - at least the PC/Console side - at 2.5mn HMDs sold, so I'm pretty certain $199USD isn't happening.
Would blow up the new market tho, so here's hoping!
As an example I'd love to see GTA V given a VR makeover, or at least allow it to be played in a VR environment. Imagine playing GTA V on Michael's TV in his living room, in his house . . .
I mentioned it in another thread, but the fact they got Driveclub up and running on PSVR, granted with some graphical reductions, bodes well for porting other PS4 titles to VR.

That would be good.
Yes that does bode well. I think as the algorithms and techniques improve the workload for processing two images will dramatically drop.
There's no way it's $199, especially if the whole thing requires the PS Camera, another box, a headset, and likely some form of pack in software because you can't sell VR without also packing something with it. Also, a move controller or two given that it seems necessary for some of these games.
I don't see it coming in under $350, $300 maybe if they're willing to take a loss on the units which i doubt they will be.
Did they state if you are using the DS4 or Move controllers?
Pricing wise, that VR unit won't be below $350-$375. Remember the iPhone when it came out.
It does seem like a cool unit. That small brick of a power unit looks okay but it better have a long cord (10ft +). Did they state if you are using the DS4 or Move controllers?

useless until they can make it wireless
useless until they can make it wireless
It's all but guaranteed to come in multiple SKUs ie. Standalone Headset, Headset + Camera, and/or Headset+Camera+Controller(s).shortsFortallPeople said:I don't see it coming in under $350, $300 maybe if they're willing to take a loss on the units which i doubt they will be.
I don't think it's that far fetched given the wireless video solutions that already exist - but it would inflate the cost of headset considerably (and weight, since it would need a battery pack).chubigans said:I don't think you understand how VR works.

I hope it comes with either one great game (RIGS?) or several good & fun "minigames".
349 is my guess, bundled with the camera, move and a game.
