His post to quote ratio has gone up significantly since the...creation of "kswiston". How do you explain that?
P.s. you see Dunkirk yet?

I might actually check out Valerian tonight. Always been a sucker for space operas.
Hmmm. Maybe you're not so bad after all, Bronson.
I feel like Valerian would benefit more as a Saturday Morning cartoon.

1) Taken.Luc Besson must have a shit load of money because there is no way this is making it all back.
More like this generation's Speed Racer.
Couple hours ago thinking Dunkirk 22, I think for now I'll keep it at that, GT 13, Val 6.5 , SMH 6, Apes 5.5
He feeds us dammit. It's crazy how much of a draw Nolan's name has become.
Been planing on seeing it since I've watch both previous movie but It hasn't had a good word of mouth around my group of friends. So Apes is really dropping 68% this weekend? Damn...

My sisters found it comical. My friends say it's just okay but predictable. Just to wait for a rental.

Rth on BOT
Gonna have to call the next movie "The End of the Planet of the Apes"
Get spun, old man.I am proud to have finally come around on Speed Racer in that I think it's fucking garbage now and really violent/sweary for no reason
We can just refer to Bronson as a NonjaGet spun, old man.
Looks like I was right about Girls Trip, and wrong about Dunkirk. The brand of Nolan, and rave reviews helped overcome what I thought would be less appealing subject matter to Americans.
Damn, Nolan is damn near invincible.
I think Valerian beats out Dunkirk the weekend both premiere here in America with Spider Man still being number 1 in it's 3rd weekend, or War for the Planet of the Apes edging out the top spot in it's 2nd weekend.

How DARE you
*secret handshake*Is Nolan the only director who's a box office draw these days? Even Spielberg just had the BFG be a flop.
Edit: woah our questions are nearly identical
Is Nolan the only director whose name seems to boost a movie's box office notably? Even Spielberg can't seem to do this anymore.

Why do you think Inception was such a huge hit? It had a director who can draw crowds and one of the few actors who can draw crowds. Is Nolan the only director who's a box office draw these days? Even Spielberg just had the BFG be a flop.

I would assume he has full reign to do whatever he wants now unless he does something weird like The Shape Of Water. Is there anything above blank check that WB can give Nolan at this point?

But he has more talent.Tarantino is like the Kevin Smith equivalent of Nolan though.

What obscure cult movie from the 70s would he ape for it?In a perfect world, Tarantino would direct Suicide Squad 2

Nothing I've seen from the movie tells me it's gonna have anything close to his personal brand of humor or outlook. He's a fun interview tho.
TJ Miller, in one interview, has sold me on seeing The Emoji Movie
