I will pay $60 for HD remake of Street of Rage 2.
and I'm not even joking.
You know that Streets Of Rage Remake v5 has a SOR2 route to take, and is free for PC, right?

Rayman Origins looks great, but a screenshot on Rayman Origins still looks like a game. What you make are explicitly pictures. There's no way I could see anything that looks like what you make animate and interact with other objects cohesively.
Let's just dream for a little.
Folks, imagine this made into whole games:
I would gladly play this on a big screen in all it's HD pixel glory.
Ok, you're automatically one of my favorite posters on GAF. Yes, Goonies II and Rygar; two of my favorite games of all time.

Super Castlevania IV
We should still be careful for what we wish for... something like this could happen:
I like the idea, but SSF2 turbo looked terrible compared to the original.
Oh and I mean I'd want those Phantasy Star games the same way Final Fantasy IV complete for the PSP is.

Yes, please!
Ever heard of Virtual Console?
One and done.
So I'm gonna say no.
The Japanese only PS2 remakes of 1 and 2 might interest you, they were originally meant to have a localization when IV was remade but unfortunately IV's remake fell through.

I'll look past it for the amazing gameplay the game has.
How do you like your Belmont: Arnold Schwarzenegger or Yagami Light?
What's wrong with the upper pic? The lower one just looks butt ugly to me.
IOS controls like shit, and the PSP rendition had some nifty stuff added, however it might be a bit off topic, but it's a "feel thing" in this case.
You can look past horrendously garish redesigns for fantastic gameplay, but not the lovely original pixel art?

But then in 1080p, well, that would be amazing.

It doesn't? I was planning on loading it up again (once I find my disc) and trying some of the mods2
I'd buy a Jagged Alliance 2 remake working on W7 in a hearbeat. I'd buy a straight port to Vita/3DS. Oh yeah. At a high price. For pure fanboyism/nostalgia I'd let a dev punch me in the face if I got Warhammer 40k Chaos Gate or Shadow of the Horned Rat on Vita.
Cmonson.jpgSymphony of the Night looks alot better than Rayman Origins.
If they ever make an Orioto Entertainment System consisting exclusively of 16Bit-remakes done with Orioto's art I will pay big bucks for it.

Also, a remake for Flashback would be like a dream come true.

So long as you can easily switch to the original graphics (you know, like the Monkey Island remakes), then I'm completely fine with it. I would love to replay some of these games with a fresh coat of paint, but I wouldn't want to lose the originals in the process.
