True. But in 2015 you have a worldwide audience if you want it or not. It´s not like the 90s where you can hold small events as a major publisher with no one international noticing it.
People will stream this international and they will rely on translation by some 3rd parties. That´s not how you introduce and market a product for an international market in 2015.
It´s not that hard either. Just slap some subtitles and an additional english title on it.

Most people aren't going to watch the japanese stream if they can't speak Japanese. Especially with it streaming this early.

They do it for Splatoon, which it launches in May worldwide, they will do it for Xenoblade X also close to the release. They will probably post also this video with translations on Nintendo's youtube channels later. There is just wasted resources to overhype a game too early before the release.
